Dank involved at Demons?

Reading and watching that report makes me feel sick. One club comes forward to suggest they are now not confident they've done the right thing while we hope nobody ever finds out. These are f#*cking federal investigators for gods sake! How dumb are the people involved with the club?

I used to love this footy club. Like a lot of you i've sat through years of crap performances, been to every game this year despite the lack of competitveness and went to training a few times to support the players.

This is testing my faith.

Whats this cream trengove wanted. how can a cream be illegal.

Whats Neil Craig getting involved for. Man I did not like those text messages that popped up on the footy show. No wonder our club is having a meeting at this point. Now it looks like we are trying to cover up something by looking as if we have lied by saying we had no contact wit him.

Andrew D must be so frustrated with us.

Seriously Neeld for the sake of your health and mind just walk away from the club. We are a rabble.

Maybe our players got taken off all supplements and they have withdrawal symptoms hence the crap way they are playing football

I think 99% of Demonland are showing withdrawal symptoms. Like a bad radio station - the hits keep coming!

Injecting a group of healthy young men with unproven substances, where the safe dosage levels are not known, where the interactions between the different substances are not known, is outrageous. Those responsible will be shown the door.

AOD - Anti-Obesity drug - if anyone in the team has an obesity issue, they should be delisted. Even if the letter of the WADA code isn't against its use, then the spirit of sport is against it.

As mentioned earlier, the players might be unhappy to have been experimented on, or they may think that all the Permiership points will be taken off us anyway, so why bother.

Until I hear evidence that we gave players banned substances, lets not jump to conclusions.

We have done nothing wrong if the substances aren't illegal. I've had some of these treatments done on my knee. They are common place and totally non invasive.

This is probably the first time in my 60 odd years that I regret being such a "rusted-on Demons tragic". If I could let go now I probably would, but sadly, I know that's impossible.

That's no longer the point; we denied it, it's amatuer hour again.

[censored] em all off.

This is astonishing and blows me off the edge. How the hell can this incompetent mob believe for one minute they were going to get away with this. I sense a supporter riot outside the front doors of this club.

What a bunch of fwits

That's it. Why did we deny!? This board have not made a right decision since McLardy took the lead.

Well +1 point for finally moving on Schwab. But even that was 18 months too late.

Like everyone else, trying to get my head around how we thought we'd get out of this saga without a mention?

That the club is meeting now gives me little confidence - this conversation should have happened weeks ago.

Let's not get ahead of everything, unlike the government does.

Untill someone is charged with using banned or illegal drugs, I reserve my judgement.

Dank has been trying to line his pockets, probably saying is revolutionary and within the wada code,

Essendon doing it etc.

God knows what he's told the club.

But to this day, no one from NRL to AFL has been found guilty of doing anything wrong.

Maybe Melbourne guilty of wanting to improve and trying anything to get there, of what they belieive is within the rules.

Yep, that part makes no sense.

I suppose we are legally right in saying he was not employed by the club and everything has been overseen by our club doctor.

I dunno, I'm sick of us being so incredibly incompetent and pathetic, so trying to defend the club?

I actually thought about asking anyone interested down to the club tomorrow morning to express our disgust. It's not about the legalities of the substance, it's about the ineptitude of the management at the club to do 1 thing right.

Good luck asking for money MFC, you've f*#ked yourself into a corner.

    CROSSROADS by The Oracle

Melbourne stands at the crossroads.  Sunday’s game against the West Coast Eagles who have not met the Demons at the MCG in more than ten years, is a make or break for the club’s finals aspirations.  That proposition is self-evident since every other team the club will be opposed to over the next eight weeks of footy is a prospective 2024 finalist. To add to this perspective is the fact that while the Demons are now in twelfth position on the AFL table, they are only a game and a half b

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi
