Ban the bugler

Yeah its his fault we are shite, seriously mate eff off

I know you are right but I reckon that whole private school blazer wearing toff rubbish makes us look like twats and its embarrassing enough if we are even half good but we just look like farling carts losing by 80 points to port but still persisting with our rich boy mascot. Makes me cringe. Not as much as the score today though obviously.

I say keep the buglar. If anything we need to give him more prominance on match day!

He'll be the making of this club if only we could parade him on a float so eveyone gets to see that amazing jacket and hear his amazing tones. Tut tut and tally ho chaps, an amazing cultural heritage before every home game what!

BTW, does anyone know what the fine might be for throwing eggs and tomatoes at someone on the hallowed MCG turf? Good therapy for every frustrated Demon supporter!

No need to ban him, just put him in a footy jumper instead of a goddamn burgundy smoking jacket. May as well be wearing skis!

We have been shite ever since that ponce turned up on the scene. Who's with me?

Fellas:

I post a fair bit at BF, and started this about the very issue last week.

http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/get-rid-of-the-melbourne-fc-bugler/

Sign it, we want 100 signatures at least before we go to the club.

Either he plays before the boys come out, or he doesn't play at all.

He obviously doesn't effect our on field performances but is just another irritant to many of us and an embarrassment to many more.

IF we were winning then maybe he could get a gig after the game, but he adds nothing.

Hey wernt each team meant to run out to a song. Remember a few months ago melbourne asked what song we should run out to. What happened to that. Maybe the AFL thought it was a silly idea.

By the way does anyone know if we pay him.

If we do then its a disgrace.

I certainly don't believe in banning the bugler.

I simply feel he should play ONLY after we have won the game

Come to think of it ............. there could be something here for all parties to this issue

Away games Crompton, away games my dear chap...

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
