I'm pretty sure I read the other day that after not fronting in court, if he didn't front at the next scheduled court date, then a warrant would be issued for his arrest... so I am not so sure that is the reason.

I am sure I heard the other day that the magistrate issued the warrant even though the legal team explained the reason for his non attendance....I could be wrong though......

No, in the article linked to on the previous page, it states: "The Elizabeth court will issue a warrant for Jurrah's arrest if he fails to show at the next hearing in April."

ABC news reporting the fresh assaults over night angle, in Alice town centre. Reported he is in protective custody..... Leading to heat have been drunk. Not sure how they correlate the two.

If reports are correct then Massive sad face on this saga. I just hope out of this the AFL, clubs, so called support networks pull there fingers out an really look hard at what they are doing with players from remote areas and bringing them into the system. I fully admit I have had virtually no exposure to the processes and support frameworks but from the outside looking in just seems like the persons ability to assimilate is rarely taken into account when dealing with people from such remoteness.

I suggest you dig up some of the older threads on Jurrah's initial arrest and read some of the posts from our NT forum members which shed light on his family's long-standing feud.

Oh don't worry i have been following this since the family member was killed...when Rupert Betheras was involved.

So that is not the issue.

The issue is when Liam started losing focus on his career.

He has to leave the country otherwise he will end up in a coffin sadly.

It's always refreshing to hear from people with a heart.

None of us really knows what's going on in his head, but I wouldn't be surprised if the state of his (now unlikely) AFL career is creating deep depression. Any of you blokes who in your youth dreamt of becoming a footy star can possibly imagine how it would feel without invoking anything related to his very unusual background.

I've said all along, get this bloke off our streets, he is a danger to others.

If he isn't drink driving - he is assaulting people, he puts others lives in danger.

Does drink driving endanger other peoples lives? Yes, it does.

Does assaulting others endanger other peoples lives? Yes, it does.

I am sorry if I want Jurrah locked away before he kills someone.
