Cheynee Stiller

Would be happy with Stiller. Certainly the Ray type that we were after.

Running half back flank who can also play off a wing. Spreads well and is a pretty good kick.

Not sure if he's capable of playing a tagging role like Ray is but he'd certainly be a welcome inclusion in my book.

Would certainly add competition for spots with the likes of Strauss, Nicholson, Bail etc..

From memory, don't we have six spot and two rookie spots to fill? Certainly there is enough room to take him as a player capable of immediate impact (c.f. Lucas Cook or Jai Sheehan)!

We've got a lot of back-line options - particularly with the addition of Dawes and Pedersen, the retention of Sellar appears to be as KPD depth (and I'm in favour of this)

B: Bartram Frawley Garland

HB: Dunn McDonald Watts

B: Nicholson Davis Macdonald

HB: Tynan Sellar Strauss

4 PL, 2 RL.

I would say 4 and 49 and 53 will definitely be apart of the additions.

People can make their opinions on whether there are more deletions to come.

yeah and Judd played 134 for West Coast - neither he or Brad Miller have the slightest thing to with Stiller

They rhyme??

If you need me to point it out to you 100 games of miller vs 100 games of Judd aren't exactly the same thing......

Now Stiller on the other hand...

I would much rather see us play Rodan, Pederson and Stiller than some zero-game 18 year olds taken in the last handful of the draft. They are our options. Maybe there are some fringe players, say Bail, for example, that might miss out because these older blokes are in - I say that is fine, let them earn their spots. It appears that the Bailey philosophy of 'get them out there straight away and play them no matter what, they will grow into it' (a mantra endorsed by most here with 'play the kids' catch-cries)' has been an abject failure. A colossal disaster, in fact. The older group of recruits can provide experience and physical presence, even if they aren't much good. Neeld is clearly putting an end to the era of the baby demons, after many brutal beltings from more experienced, bigger sides.

correct, 3 different players. Cale Morton was pick 4 too, does that mean whoever we draft at 4 this year is going to wash out with zero impact in 5 years? I think not... because they are different players.

i thought he left because he has a baby on the way and the move would be too much not because the the dee's training is too much.

Yes, that is the correct reason... but you should be aware that if a player says "no" to the MFC, then it will be viewed as an affront to the club and its supporters on the forums ;-)

Is that the correct or politically correct reason? With a baby on the way I would have thought an AFL salary would be a good thing.

Anyway...at least he got cold feet early and didn't take a spot on the list what ever the reason.

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had
