  1. There are guys who just don't cut it, unfortunately Garland and Grimes are at the top of the list.
  2. Oscar McDonald was playing on Rowan and Heeney as far a I could see, which are both medium sized forwards, we didn't need him in the team, against Adelaide with Jenkins, Lynch and Walker we will need an extra tall bac there but we could have used an extra midfielder or forward instead of him today. The sooner Dunn, Pedersen or Lumumba are available we swap them for O Mac. Having two identical defenders in the same backline isn't working for us. Both too slow and indecisive at critical times.
  3. I would like to see him played closer to goal for more of the game, that's where his footy smarts are best used for us. He has started to use his body in marking contests and everyone knows how good a set shot he is.
  4. Why can't the rest of the team play more like Bernie Vince does in the wet ? Runs hard, keeps his feet, majority of his disposals are by foot, and most of those kicks are getting as much distance on the ball as possible. 29kicks 7handballs vs Hawthorn in the wet, 21kicks 7handballs in the wet today, he changes his game in the wet and thrives, why can't other's learn and copy how he plays in the wet?
  5. He did some good things, but we will have to get used to his mistakes which will raise their head each week. We were building some momentum when he dropped that mark which cost us a goal, his brother should know better. He is slow and looks completely buggered half the time.
  6. Why isn't he, look at his numbers and they say that he is.... Viney and Gawn AA
  7. Don't know much about Alir Alir but surely he is worth a couple of goals to us. Hopefully Oscar doesn't cost us to many goals tomorrow, he panics with the ball and so many times his first thought is to handball instead of kick, tomorrow's weather will suit him down to the ground which is why we will win.
  8. Settle down chief. I did enjoy the win but let's not get too carried away, we had a full strength team vs their half strength team.
  9. Hibberd is a great fit for us, should be coming into his prime. How many times I've watched Birchall and Gibson at Hawthorn and said this is the type we need, Hibberd could be as good for us. Well done Dee's if we get him, we could use a Frawley type aswell, as O Mac will need a few years of game time before he is reliable and ready.
  10. Let's be honest Collingwood aren't much chop, it was a good win but we played an undermanned Collingwood team.
  11. My mates 1 year old received the membership I bought him today, absolute legend. Hopefully a dee supporter for life!
  12. There are "decent players" who play for Casey in the VFL...
  13. Looks to have a very nice kicking style and can hold a grab, let's hope he can do it in front of a big crowd round 2 against the bombers
  14. Interesting player, good choice at this stage, much prefer him to Parish, but it's what they do at the top level. Fingers crossed
  15. I'm not sold on these classy outside types anymore, not to say he couldn't be an absolute star, but I'd play it safer and go for a more contested style type of player with our early picks...
  16. Just hope he stays injury free, I reckon he and Kent will be a real handful for the opposition with their pace and attack at the ball.
  17. Don't argue with Stuie he is an expert at it
  18. Priority is attack on the footy, who wins the contested ball the best out of our options, Hogan and Brayshaw great attack on the footy...Toumpas and Watts no attack on the footy. Does anyone know which of our options attacks the footy the best?
  19. Apparently he is an Essendon supporter and they want him, but they are hoping we don't take him with our pick 3. I hope we don't take him, would much prefer Curnow or Parish at pick 3.
  20. From the limited footage of Curnow, I want us to take him at number 3 looks like an athletic tall with great hands, who could push into the midfield, this is exactly the type we need and he will have the ability to play round 1, I'm shying away from the skinny midfielder types like Parish. So much more upside to Curnow.
  21. I reckon he will sit himself out for round 1
