To those 9 people that voted against Neeld, really should watch Coaches office this week.

One of the questions by a fan is how come we seem to win 3 games this season when we won 8 games with our playing list last year? and apparently according to neeld our list is less experience than our list last season, please watch full interview http://www.melbourne...50/default.aspx

BE VERY CLEAR HERE!! READ THE TOPIC!! ITS CLEARLY ASKS IF YOU SUPPORT MARK TO REMAIN COACH IN 2013? MANY OF US DEMONLANDERS DID NOT VOTE SIMPLY BECAUSE THE QUESTION IS NOT WITHOUT MISCHIEF. MOST WANT MARK TO COACH UNTIL THE END OF HIS CONTRACT 2014 AND THE REMAINDER (VAST MAJORITY) DON'T CARE OR SEE A NEED FOR SUCH A POLL. THE MERE FACT THERE IS A POLL SUGGESTS NEELDS'S GRIP IS FRAGILE AND THIS SUGGESTION IS COMPLETE AND UTTER NONSENSE

Well, between RRs persistence and your persistence, it's not hard to tell who is having more success when taking a look at the count.

I have voted for the sake of voting, but i agree with that other bloke.

Waste of time, of course most want him to continue next year.

range rover posts some useless stuff huh.

Give him a chance with the players he has selected. He had to work with whatever he had this year. If next season turns to crap then it's his problem but let's not stat kicking him in the dick before he's even had a chance to put his plan into action .

Not sure who started this poll?

But the message is loud and clear.... Mark Neeld stays....

P.S. RR is a lively member of demonland...... I like his polls...... And would welcome him back.....

Wow... Worst poll ever.

If people are genuinely calling for the sack then we know who to ignore, but my impression is that most who are being labelled with that are either calling for more accountability of the coaching staff and/or questioning why the same posters saying "you don't know if he's bad or not, needs more time" are also saying "I have faith in Neeld".

It's a circular argument, and pretty obviously this poll was started and worded in such a way as for point scoring by certain posters.

Henceforth, I won't be voting in this thread, and I'm TOTALLY SICK of the same 4-5 posters over running every thread with their name calling and off topic posts.

STOP RUINING DEMONLAND.

I stopped reading at post no4.

Range Rover? I'll bet you drive a Vespa.

I've read that thread and the one thing it doesn't address is just what a frigging cess pool would be left if we removed another coach and who his replacement would be, therefore to suggest Neeld be removed is a totally moronic suggestion. I despair for the capacity to think clearly of those who vote in favour of his removal.

A stupid and destructive thread

The poll couldn't be any more simply worded.

Don't like the results Stu?

12 - 1 ... not looking good for the anti-Neeldists.

It's a very silly poll. Although I've found N to be quite unsatisfactory I certainly wouldn't want to see a change now. But if we are hopeless at the end of 2013 we must make a move because I'm aware of the sense of despair amongst many of the young (real) stars some of whom wil be out of contact and who would like to leave.

I respect freedom of free speech.......but to have a vote on Neeld after 1 season???

We had a basket case list & shocking drafting....look at the delistings & draft to clera the decks a rebuild of the list.

Give Neeld & his team the time

What an uneccesary poll and topic. Obviously there are some Demonland members who read and listen to too much Damien Barrett. Mark Neeld was employed to do a job. And, cutting the fat and the could've should'ves from the list is part of it. Bringing in solid replacements is just as important.

To my mind the club has done a pretty reasonable job in that regard. Also don't be surprised if things don't go to plan...but at least we have a plan - now

Fact is we just experienced the worst season maybe ever in the history of the club. 1 win against a non-expansion club is an utter risgrace that only one-eyed Melbourne supporters could sugar coat or see any positives.

Neeld can talk the talk all he likes but another season like last and he will struggle to find a job as a VFL coach.

Good positive point Mono, on what is an otherwise poinless thread. Off course the jury is still out on Neeld but to even ponder axing him now is one of the sillier topics to come up on this site.

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

The Casey Demons won their first game at home this year in the traditional King’s Birthday Weekend clash with Collingwood VFL on Sunday in a dramatic turnaround on recent form that breathed new life into the beleaguered club’s season. The Demons led from the start to record a 52-point victory. It was their highest score and biggest winning margin by far for the 2024 season. Under cloudy but calm conditions for Casey Fields, the home side, wearing the old Springvale guernsey as a mark of res

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
