I count 15 that would like us to not win another game this year. 15 so called Melbourne supporters. You can spin it how you want but I'd prefer they went and stunk up another club.

I've been a member for many year...... My family have been members for many year..... I've put in my hard earn money, when the club was dying.... You CAN GET [censored]!!!!

Win them all.

But If we lose the next 4 games, I'll then be on the tank bandwagon.

May as well make the most of a horrible season by getting picks 1, 2, 13ish, and Jack Viney.

BBP if we lose the next 4 mate you will not have to worry about tanking we will finish last

No tanking required what so ever

I think we really need to change this losing culture. Get the players wanting to win at all costs, what has losing gain us? After so many years down the bottom we're still contemplating draft picks.

I think we need to think big in this game .I want to physically crush them and smash them in all areas of the ground.I want them seriously questioning their decision to ever sign with a fake team.

I liked that Neeld said "we need to address out win-loss ratio" in the latest coaches office...

Reckon the boys will be primed for Sunday.

I think PA and the Dogs will eke out a few more wins.

Dogs wont win anymore - I dont even think they want to either.

I watch the Dees games just hoping to see improvement out of the talent we have,

the scoreboards irrelevant to me thesedays, theres no point robbing Peter to pay Paul.

McKenzie out this week with a groin - he played sore with no rotations left on the bench last week, Jetta will get a game so Neeld can have a look at him.

The boys honestly believe they can win this week even though there is only 27 on the list available to pick from.

Neeld thinks we are a good shot this week.

SICK OF PEOPLE INSINUATING WE ARE CONTROLLING THIS

WE ARE A BAD TEAM

Couldn't agree more, we are bad, I have always tried over the past 5 years to stay positive but this year we have seen our senior players take a huge drop in form, Jamar, Green, Davey, Moloney have been nowhere near their best, Frawley has struggled, our midfield is the worse in the AFL. Jones, Howe and McDonald have improved, the rest are the same or gone backwards.

How many wins who knows it could be 2-3 or it could be none, it won't be tanking we are just bad. I do feel we need to manage our players to ensure every required player is fit for the start of pre-season, we can't control what injuries occur and if players stay fit you keep playing them but there is no point bringing players back for 2-3 games, considering we play Adelaide and Fremantle at Subi in the last 2 weeks.

The way we are heading, we might have a repeat of Freo last year where they almost ran out of players to choose from for the final round.

Meanwhile Juice Newton and Nathan Carroll sit by the phone patiently.

Nathan Carroll would be a walk up start in this side - probably even now.

Ironic given we are playing Freo in Freo. Everyone on the list should play because its likely we will only have 22 to choose from the way we are going...

Could be a farewell game for quite a few players...

High draft picks haven't worked - debate the reasons elsewhere: poor picks, poor development, poor culture, poor leadership on and off field?

What we need is to regain a winning culture -- and the best way to do that is to start winning, aiming to win every game by as big a margin as possible. Play 100 per cent for 100 minutes, or as Barassi says 6000 seconds. No respite for our players nor their opponents.

dead right

    GAMEDAY: Rd 16 vs Brisbane

It's Game Day and the Dees are deep in the heart of enemy territory as they take on the Lions in Brisbane under the Friday Night Lights at the Gabba. Will the Demon finally be awakened and the season get back on track or will they meekly be sacrificed like lambs to the slaughter?

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the

GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne

It's Game Day and it very well could be the last roll of the dice for the Demon's finals aspirations in 2024. A loss to the bottom side would be another embarrassing moment in a cursed year for the Dees whilst a win could be the spark they need to reignite the fire in the belly.
