True Faulty I'm sure that some have come on here hoping to bury their past.

I'm sure that Ology will continue it's a good site and has some very good posters, Chook being one of them. I must say I have a look over there to see your bro take up the good fight on the general board and have a laugh as he tears the othere a new one.

I see I still rate a few mentions over there from time to time, such is life.

Hey Robbie. I think Ash used to quietly drop in from time to time to read the latest disagreement between myself and HE-WHO-MUST-NOT-BE-NAMED.

I tried my hardest to ignore most of it, but sometimes........................................

Anyhoo, i dont think its such a bad thing if 'Ology cant be resucitated. Moderation was abandoned long ago, and the personal abuse was totally out of hand from that one poster in particular.

As for your dislike of IRW.... i actually enjoy reading most of his stuff now. I think i just try to look at what he says from a different (not too serious) angle.

P.S. Faultydet..... Hope you catch many incurable diseases in the Philippines.

At least he used irw, and not something else.

Maybe 'Land is like alcos anonymous, and will provide a fresh outlook on things? :)

After a couple of years trying to work out wtf he was saying I think I've done my time, I'm just not interested any more.

He needs his own forum so he can post respond, post respond, ........

There's also a ban button if there are too many problems. Just saying... ;-)

Aw ... C'mon now sheriff.

Should be entertaining watching every-one work out where they sit on the foodchain.

Watching out for your power trippin' deputy will be the trick.

Flame 'em then suspend 'em is his modus operandi.

How's it going Ding? Yeah it was a bit of a free for all and rather pointless; everyone knew everyone else's position but kept fighting about it anyway, no one was going to change. Bit different here, no real aggro except for a few who have a dislike for each other and the occasional

spat over something much, easier to read about the Dees. I've managed to keep out of most fights, not all, but most.

Regarding the other bloke, I reckon he would last about one post here, perhaps 2 if he used the first to introduce himself; no make that one either way.

Biif, it's fair to say that our sense of humour will never be on the same plane.

Or even landing at the same airport Ben .

Sheepishly puts his hand in the air. I was permanently banned. One day I could no longer access the site. I couldn't really tell you why as I had zero communication, or explanation. I'm not complaining, as that's their business, and I suspect I know why. C'est la vie. If I'm subsequently banished never to be seen again you know'll why, or maybe not - although they've known since day one who B-H really is, so if I'm a good boy ...

I joined 'land in Nov, 2002 and 'ology in Oct, 2004. From around the time I joined 'Ology I would have posted there far more often for 2/3 years. When life was boring over summer it was Rono that kept me entertained. He's a left field thinker and to be honest I don't share many of his views on footy, but his unique style of posting is very talented. I actually like Ron, but I think he'd be too proud to join here again. I hope I'm wrong.

But without wishing to sound condescending I grew out of that site. Clearly some people still love it, but to me it's now irrelevant. I see no need for it, but obviously others disagree.

Well Well Well, ole Sparkles himself.

Clayton Collard says Hi.

Big H has had his misses. Clayton Collard is a minnow though. His frustration when we took Frawley over Sellar still lives in my memory. But he's not the only one to "miss" and thankfully his misses have cost us nothing unlike the pro's who would seem to have cost us a lot!!

Everyones had their misses Sleeve, my best couple were thinking that Ryan Ayres would be a ripper and Jared Rivers would never make it.

Having said that TGR's Wallace campaign will be hard for anyone to emulate!!

All good fun.

Back on topic.

One of the reasons that Tim appointed mods was that swearing became too big an issue for him to handle and given his state of health at that time he appointed some moderators.

He also mentioned that if he didn't he would shut the site down.

Tim wanted a family orientated site.

After I resigned as a moderator ( yes one of the heavy handed ones); swearing and poster abuse became rife and I feel that because of that Tim will not re open the site nor let it be re opened by anyone else.

If any one swore or was guilty of poster abuse in their postings on Demonology and is now bemoaning the state of the forum then all I can say is........

..............It's your fault.

Your contributions are as rewarding as your memory. I wouldn't expect less from such a disingenuous poster.

I never "missed" on Collard because I never saw him play. He "sounded" the type of player we needed based on others opinions. But, of course, you know this because I've cleared it up before. I'm flattered by your continued interest though.

Btw, there's a function here where you can read every post a contributor has made. I only have 600 odd, so reacquaint yourself ...

It's probably best you leave private forums alone.

Are you still buying shares in Daniel Bell and other NQR's ?

Don't flatter yourself mate.

The forum changed little after you got run outta town.

Recently HHNF has gone senile and the swearing and abuse has escalated but thats due to 1 bloke losing the plot.

we have only been here a few days, and look what we are doing to the place already.

'Ology is like that incestuous mob of 'tards that just moved in next door against your wishes.

All day fighting, bickering, and hurling insults like 8 year olds with a crush, when after dark, all they want to do is root each other.

Apologies in advance if we bring our bullschit and baggage with us.

Faulty you'll find out they accept a lot less here than Ology did and there are certain terms, that if used, will see posts disappear, the term you used in your post is one. And I'm not referring to "bullschit".

On another note it's quite enjoyable being able to post and discuss without someone waiting to pounce, you'll find it less stressful.

If I feel like an argument I make the trip to bay 13 on BF, usually when I'm on holidays and can't be bothered reading a book.

Graeme Smith and GOTO are in touch with him and I think GOTO is trying to work out a resolution, not sure if it will succeed though.

    GOLDIE'S METTLE by Meggs

On a perfect night for football at the home of the Redlegs, Norwood Oval, it was the visiting underdogs Melbourne who led all night and hung on to prevail in a 2-point nail-biter. In the previous round St Kilda had made it a tough physical game to help restrict Adelaide from scoring and so Mick Stinear set a similar strategy for his team. To win it would require every player to do their bit on the field plus a little bit of luck.  Fifty game milestoner Sinead Goldrick epitomised

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play
