Bailey stuffed this club down the toilet.

Neeld et al have pulled the chain.

Remember:

  • we are now paying 100% salary cap
  • coahing panel cost must have gone up 400%

Sick of people saying this is Bailey's fault. He took us to over 8 wins last year, do you see us getting anywhere near that this year?

And get your facts straight, we are NOWHERE near 100% of the salary cap, we're around 92%.

The players aren't playing for the coach, period.

It shows every week in the effort/intensity and today we laid 51 tackles when they had all the play.

Watts goes back and plays as a spare man, gets 34 touches and 1 tackle FFS!!! The ball was in his area 80% of the game and he won't tackle.

At least if you send him back, play him on an opponent for his development which will help him as a forward, anyone can run around with no opponent and get 34.

I'm sick to death of Sylvia, gone at the end of the year,he is pissweak.

Howe can't kick to save himself, adds 1 grab to his highlight reel each week,Tassie league standard.

Trengove is going backwards very quickly,Jones should have been made Captain and should be next year, what's Grimes done onfield?

Beamer is playing like he's already signed with the Bombers, good riddance.

No point in playing Green at 31,give his games to a teenager, even Petterd maybe but he's going nowhere but i'd still have him over Green.

Like i said, the players are not playing for the coach and it will get a lot worse from here.

Neeld is trying to give us the defence that Bailey had no idea about but we are all downhill skiiers and it's all too hard for our pea hearts.

This is the worst i've ever felt as a Dee Member, worse than 186.

Can't wait to see Neeld's press conference. Be interesting to see if we are expected to swallow the same crap from the club, or if he'll go for something more impassioned. I think we are owed some heart from someone. Maybe he is the one.

I'm just really numb, totally, no feelings for it, just at a total loss, FaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarkMD.

It helped a little bit.

What's wrong with Grimes? The guy has lost all confidence. Same with Trengove. Massive mistake IMO putting those two under so much pressure with the captaincy.

Hindsight is a beautiful thing...or is it?

I thought we had hit rock-bottom a week ago, but no, this team is taking us to previously unknown depths. At least last week we played 20 minutes of solid footy, but this week I struggled to find one passage of play which might indicate some hope for the future. I'm absolutely gutted, and ashamed of my team tonight!

From the outside looking in, it would appear that Neeld has treated alot of players with little respect. Now they are returning the favour. The club is in crisis mode.

Actually think that may be spot on.

None of us know it as fact obviously, but instinct is really feeling that.

Maybe he thinks that they have to earn his respect unlike a previous useless coach we had.

From the outside it looks like the older players thought they could just ride on respect whether it was earned or otherwise.

Didnt they do similar to Bailey or the board pre/during 186? seems to be a trend

Want to hold the coach and the members to the dogs if your knickers get in a knot? Do so elsewhere.

Now, I wasn't in the country (thankfully) win 186 occurred, but I get the feeling that this may not have been too far off in terms of an insipid performance.

The only thing that I am taking away from this game is an overwhelming sense of guilt for having subjected my young son to this. I have to admit that we bailed out at three quarter time.

The only thing worth seeing was Howes mark of the year, and that happened on the opposite side of the ground, so we didn't even get to enjoy that!

I spent the second and third quarters mentally piecing together an email I would like to send to the club... if it is still in my head come tomorrow, I may write it.

Forget 0-11 we could be 0-22 the way we are going. We will be lucky to beat gws and GC.

Aint footy fun!!!!!!!

Based on what I saw today, we will definitely lose to both of those teams... absolutely no doubt about it!!

The pressure may be on the afl to give us a priority pick if we finish bottom

Perhaps you should Hardtrack, pehaps you should.

that is not enough....

the AFL will need to appoint an independent review committee to select the draftee (something we will screw up otherwise)

then they will need to appoint best AFL practice independent development coaches (not those who are learned in losing cultures eg Royal, Rawlings etc)

and then they will need to coach them how to play in a team....

AFL socialism is all that is helping us survive at the moment

I recall that happening at Shitihed Stadium a few years back. The only highlight for me and war office was a big mark over the pack to Newton. HOWE times haven't changed...

I spent all of 2 minutes thinking of what i would write the club after the first half...2 words.... [censored] and WEAK!

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
