club confirmed that the clash between Folau and Scully left the latter with a slight depressed fracture of his cheekbone.

Giants football operations general manager Graeme Allan said Scully, another of the club's big-name recruits for its inaugural AFL season, was expected to miss just the one game.

"While it is obviously disappointing for Tom not to be able to play in our first game, the prognosis from the medical staff was very positive

Poor kid. I really feel for him, because nothing has gone right so far in his career. First he's drafted to a [censored] weak club that stunted his development and wrecked his knee. Then after finally catching a break by heading to the 2021 premiers in waiting, where - under the greatest coach of the modern era - he finally gets the treatment he deserves, he gets this terrible injury in a random collision with one of the greatest NRL players to ever play the game. Extraordinary!

At least now he can focus on his true interest: the housing market. I hear he has quite a penchant for real estate.

GWS player not playing round 1.

Big deal.

Well worth making a topic on Demonland.

My thoughts too, but then i did a little research and dug a little deeper.

Turns out he played for Melbourne last year.

And that's why someone made a topic about it.

You're correct, he was on the MFC list for 2011 and 2010,

So everything beyond that is still relevant and worth posting about?

Folau and Scully. The most expensive collision in AFL history.

If they both miss the game how much is it costing the league?

Isn't Scully costing around 80k per game this year on the 2 million his earning this year.

I would have preferred to see him play; really want to watch him closely this year.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round.
