It often amuses me that so much speculation is givng to this bloke or that blokes ability to coach based as much as it is often on the basis of a playing career.

Coaching is ALL about an understanding of the craft and the ability to communicate and teach it. They dont have to play, they have to be able to Coach, to facilitate, to empower.

Some very good player cant coach for sh!t..some can...and vice versa....and possibly all grades in between.

Im prepared to trust the club in its desire and ability to build a top notch footy dept full of able coaches. Sure, not a kick in anger yet but theres certainly a methodology and purpose in their efforts thus far.

I for one am very interested to see how al lthis rubs off and effects our list.

I'm sure there will be a clear structured OBS with clearly defined roles.

One thing I like the word professionalism being used over and over again by our new additions.

What I wonder is what impact the Andrews Report has had on this restructuring?

Surely it hasn't all come from Neeld himself.

But then again, we shelved that report and ignored its findings, didn't we?

So by my count, we have 2 spots on the coaching panel to fill, in order to make it 8. An assistant back-line coach and the forward coach. Should come out over the next week or so, on would imagine.

So I make the organisational structure (in terms of who they are reporting to) to crudely look something like this:

Any further additions, I imagine that if they are to come from either of the teams playing in the GF, considering it is so close we will extend them the courtesy of waiting until the match has been played.
