Granted he's done a decent job on Kerr today however this kid is so unreliable with his foot skills it's not remotely funny.

He is so far behind AFL standard and should never wear the jumper again. How many more chances does he want?

These are the type of players we need to weed out if we are ever going to be successful.

Nicholson was probably an option today, but Kerr would have racked up 30 touches. The others I'm not so sure about. Dunn doesn't look fit enough at the moment, Bail is injured and McKenzie I think is better served just trying to win the ball instead of tagging every week.

Really what is highlighted here is that we are short on athletically gifted midfield types (and might get shorter if we lose Scully). I'm hoping in the rookie draft (or main draft this year if the players are good enough) we pick up a few experienced gun running state league midfielders as it will help put pressure on others to get a game.

I admit it is a glaring hole in his game, but we need to bear in mind that it's the only area he falls down in. Yes, we need to stop him from kicking, but he is our best stopper, he rarely fails one-on one and he is one of the few players in our team who knows how to compete. I'd prefer to see them hire him a kicking coach and see if they can't fix his kicking that hold a witch hunt and delist him.

I thought he was alright. Should have kicked three goals, but they just didn't go straight today. On another day they will. Howe, Sylvia and Morton all also missed sitters today. They're down on confidence, it happens. Barts put Kerr down hard and it was nearly a quarter till he (Kerr) touched it again. Would still prefer him in the team to Strauss or Bennell.

It's not the only area. You're talking about his execution of the kicking skill.

His decision-making is also terrible. And it's improves in recent times, but it's still terrible.

This is where I've been calling for us to recruit Myles Sewell from North Ballarat. Not only is he a clearance specialist but he's shown he can perform a run with role very well. Should be seriously looked at!

He runs all day, tackles stick and can keep an in form Kerr to 17 possessions.

His descision making has actually improved this year.

He's arguably our worst kick, if not one of the worst in the AFL. Yet how many times does he end up as the last handball in the chain and ends up kicking? Something wrong their structuraly.

Cause the opposition don't rate him they allow him to be the one with ball in hand, just don't cover him when we spread.

This is why it's important we develop the likes of Strauss, Blease, Bail, Nicholson, Bennell & Tapscott. The more of them that develop and the quicker they do, the quicker Bartram wont be in the team.

'Jones is in the same boat'.....staggeringly stupid comment!!!!!!!! If not for Nathan Jones today, the winning margin would have been doubled. He worked harder in ways nobody, and I mean NOBODY did today. He played the running link, got under the pack, and presented with vigour in the backline when everyone else stood still. UNBELIEVABLE.
