4th season in- playing as badly as we were at the start of Bailey's reign. Surely something's got to give?

Yes its the worst quarter I have seen. Very [censored] off. Expected a 10 goal loss but this is horrible to watch

Pathetic yet again geez I'm finding it tough to keep my kids as dees supporters lost one already the 2nd is nearly gone and the third is 18 months old

If Bailey is still there next year I won't be and many other members will be the same, we continually churn out rubbish against anyone in the top 12 on the ladder.

I've had enough of this hack. One has to seriously question the board and the whole bloody footy department for letting this run for way too long. We have gone so far backwards compared to last year, with a better draw this year as well. Our senior leaders are useless, our captain hasn't got a clue how to lead (Junior must be laughing his arse off) and our coach, coaches rather, are being paid hundreds of thousands of $'s to do a job that a 2-year old would be better at.

As bad as it may sound, the only positive out of today would be for us to be beaten so badly, that Bailey has no choice but to resign. Maybe without a coach, our young kids will use their natural talent and play a basic game. Maybe a get ball-kick ball style. It is called football for a reason.

Bailey along with the 'senior players' are an embarrassment on the Dees of 2008.

As the Italian tenor and the English soprano said

Time To Say Goodbye

I don't have to elaborate

Yes.

I am starting to think that Bailey needs to go purely to provide some refreshment. There is no positivity around DB.

Come on guys. He's trying his best

I'm switching to TVN to watch Caulfield

The margin record may not just be beaten today but absolutely smashed. This is the game that seals Bailey's fate for mine.

I'm just in shock. I know we have been bad, I know we're young, but this is disgraceful. I have never seen such a pathetic effort from a Melbourne team, there is absolutely no leadership out there.

Worst Bailey match by far.

I'd be very surprised if he's coaching next week.

Better bloody not be....

Dean Bailey has proved this year that he can't walk the walk. Blown away in every single game against top 8 clubs and has been unable to stop the bleeding on every occasion.

Can't coach, full stop!

Meh! Do we really care anymore, we are crap we have gone backwards at will continue to do so under Bailey, however lets not forget how insipid the players look to no heart no drive, I would expect an all in in any league of football the way Chapman treated Dunn, but what do we get everyone stands back and does'nt get involved something is really rotten down Melbourne way...Nobody should feel safe come trade week after this display nobody.

Goodbye Dean and take your coaching mob with you. Its nearly half time and we are down nearly 100 points!!! I have never been so ashamed to be a Demon fan, Its now 102 pts down. This is so dreadful.

We are once again the laughing stock of the competition!!!

We've had the pick of the young talent for some 4 years and this is the best or worst we can do?, now 108 points down. This is going to be our worst loss in our history!!

Please leave us Bailey and give a chance to move on!!

Its now going to 114 points down, and I am very down.

Siren!1 Bloody hell!!! AAARRHHHHHH

Just read the article in the HUN I think it is quite good.

Covers the issues well.

Interesting times are ahead.

care to revisit this one Old ?? ;)

The most disturbing thing from the coaching point of view is just how badly Bailey has [censored] up our match-ups in defence. Watts is a forward- ffs, put the kid in the forward line. Send Green back instead- it's about time the bloke showed some leadership. Jurrah on the wing- WTF? Garland on Johnson- WTF?

Its the worst we've been under anybody absolutely anybody!!

Clear out all coaching staff because seeing this is proof positive that they are all hopeless !!

Its not just the defence match ups he has stuffed up.

It is time to start a new football department starting with sacking Bailey today

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
