  1. Poor call. Apart from that astute bit of lip-reading we don't know what Neeld said to Cale, but I somehow doubt Neeld would have chosen that moment for an in-depth discussion with Cale. Cale made a bad error and was dragged, and his coach let him know what he thought. Simple as that.
  2. What a cannibalistic thread. I thought only Tigers supporters ate their own.
  3. Poor decision-maker, shocking skills, no game smarts, consistently gets caught out ... sounds like a Nathan Jones thread from two years ago. And look how that turned out. Give the kid time.
  4. Was given BOG by TripleMMM. Such an intelligent footballer. Pure silk. Can't wait to see him in four-year's time.
  5. Mark Stevens on TripleMMM was saying before the game how Melbourne supporters should be on the verge of microwaving their memberships, and that we didn't have a chance against GWS. It's only one win, but it was against the odds and against quality opposition - stick that in your pipe Stevo, you sensationalist tabloid [censored].
  6. I loved the not-so-subtle backhand aimed squarely at David King's face. 'Mike Sheahan ... Now he's someone worth listening to'.
  7. In fairness, and I'm a big advocate for putting a rocket up Moloney and Sylvia, Moloney at his peak never looked like he got out of 2nd gear. It's just his style - similar to Watts.
  8. Wow. Slipped under the radar?
  9. No point getting worked up about people having a whack. Football commentators always seem to get personal with particular teams (see Paul Roos) - as long as we keep playing like this we're fair game IMO. We should probably get used to it.
  10. We keep saying this of every team that loses - 'their intensity was down, they didn't chase or tackle'. There comes a point where a lack of intensity is not the answer, and that point is surely reached where a team has copped it seven weeks in a row from all angles telling them such, but don't appear to be playing any differently. Our problems run deeper than a lack of intensity.
  11. At least when they played under Bailey, he didn't implement some ridiculous game plan that stifled any talent they had. At least when we lost under Bailey (which was, disturbingly, less frequently than we are losing under Neeld) we would see glimpses of talent for a portion of the games.
  12. I think maybe the answer to our problems is to get a review of the football club done. Oh wait ...
  13. No doubt. But I find it incredibly difficult to believe that we would be playing so badly under Watters or Sanderson or McCartney. I can't imagine how Neeld sold himself to become so highly regarded.
  14. How can one take a list with so much (perceived) talent, and just absolutely positively f*** it all up so badly?? It's criminal what these coaches have done to this team - I can't name one player whose game has gone to a new level under Neeld, in fact absolutely everyone on our list has gone undoubtedly backwards. Neeld walked in like a white knight saying 'I will coach the hardest team to play against in the comp', G Lyon and co got sucked in, creamed themselves and have apparently appointed the wrong bloke. This team is a disgrace.
