6 - Tapscott. A few clanger kicks after half time but this guy is made of the right stuff.

5 - Bail. Excellent first half.

4 - Rivers. Improved performance.

3 - Martin. He may not be finished just yet.

2 - Sylvia. A few nice things. Not enough though.

1 - Watts. Encouraging signs before half time.

* Forgot Martin

6- Tapscott. The kid is awesome, and was better defensively than last week too, which was probably his only downfall in his first match. Gun.

5- Bail. Excellent work in the middle under immense pressure and with little support

4- Martin. An absolute revelation. Ran himself into the ground in all positions and did some excellent things, including good contested marks and good use of the footy.

3- Rivers. Much improved and showed why the coaching staff love him

2- Sylvia. When he is good, he is brilliant. Just wish he could do that for 4 whole quarters.

1- Watts. Definitely our most involved forward. Found a way to get into the game even when the forwardline was a dead zone. Good contested work in packs too.

6 Tapscott (keeps this up and he is rising star for 2011)

5 Bail (he is going to be a very good player for MFC)

4 Martin (has come a very long way)

3 Rivers

2 Sylvia

1 Watts (only because of that mark and goal)

6- Bail. Officially my favourite Dees player. Love his pace and hard work. In those horrible oments of the 3rd adn last quarter he was the only one still running.

5- Tapscott. Great to have himn in the team tongiht. Yep, a few clangers in the 3rd quarter but kicking to stationary targets is difficult for anyone.

4- Martin. Contested marking, running down smaller opponents, kicking vastly improved.

3- Rivers. Some of the Hawks misses in 1st half came from his defensive pressure. Not creative but worked really hard.

2- Sylvia. He is the best footballer at our club but he cabn't be on-ball for four quarters. Only help was from Bail.

1- Watts. ran all night. Led with class. Crashed packs and tackled well (at times)

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. He showed great resilience in coming back from a nasty rib injury and is expected to continue in that role for another couple of seasons. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025.
