  1. http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/113749/default.aspx Amazing the AFL allowed this to be posted on the site
  2. He is well out of touch Bartlett and I'm sick of him peddling the AFL agenda.
  3. Have another toke....good for the paranoia!
  4. Such a politically correct world where again actual common sense is left far behind. A sad & horrible week for the AFL. It's little wonder that besides my beloved MFC interest in the game as a whole subsides.
  5. Nothing of the sort is being proposed. Your twisting words, badly. As I said, there seems to be a question mark over the other options. I'm not entirely sure and couldn't state categorically what the concerns are because I have not seen enough of Gawn etc this season. But I would have reservations about throwing someone in just because they are closer to 7ft tall. I think your grasping to say that he offers a lot more experience when referring to his inclusion into an AFL side. The experience he has is far removed from what he will confront in a senior side. My thoughts are that Dunn (more so than Warnock) could at least become a 4th on baller and have an effect in this area to compensate for the loss of Jamar. I feel if approached in the right manner that this set up has potential to be of more benefit that 10 hit outs and minimal impact by a ruckman that is not ready.
  6. This should be the final concern from a football club perspective and not sure what the point is of including it?? I'm not sure anyone promotes just for the sake of it. Circumstance may see it bought forward from what the more ideal approach would be but I'd suggest the success of the rookie list etc shows that 'taking the punt', due to the circumstance actually pays off.
  7. Is he the new hide & seek champion? Did someone check Abbottabad?
  8. Post # 100 is the someone. Hope your enjoying the interest in all of this. I'm leaning more and more towards Warnock being our 'best' option with Dunn. Seems to be far too many question marks on the alternatives. How awful, but we hope for a contest at best and the midfield, especially at stoppages, will need to work as a unit to offset this huge loss of Jamar. Depending on Trengove and his availability we may get away with this against North but against the saints and blues it will have a huge impact.
  9. Well done MFC. Whether or not he is successful I couldn't agree anymore that appealing is the right course of action. Interesting to see and hear the great support from his team mates. So much for the disunity between this playing group that was spewed out from all angles last week. Good luck JT.
  10. Out - Jamar, Grimes, Trengove... In - Martin, Bennell, MacDonald Bloody Warnock might have to be a ruck option.
