I would of stepped back. Going to school with Carl Dietrich in the sixties taught me life-long survival skills.

You need to understand that no one here at Demonland has ever squibbed a contest

Basically goes on to explain that Billy is giving up football for a life as a Buddhist monk.

And that he would like to get a tattoo of Satan across his forehead while he does his studies.

I heard he was getting schooled by Glen Benton in regards to this Biffen.

The article also goes on to say that he has a large butterfly collection and that he is interested in making ships in a bottle.

After he has been initiated by the Hells Angels ,he will be eligible for the draft if his solo yacht trip around the world goes OK.

Don't know if anyone knows but Billy was selected in the level 2 AIS team earlier this month.

Hearing good things about Billy!

Also there is a kid by the name of Harry Viney who plays for North Adelaide under 18s and bit of a goal kicking forward? The son of Jay Viney but haven't heard much else..

Billy Stretch has played the last four games for Glenelg reserves and been named in the best twice for 6 goals. I believe he will play in the grand final this week aswell which will be interesting.

Have heard he is a very quick wingman who can push forward and kick goals plus also a 15.4 beep test as well. Another good young mid to add to our table next year.

I am unsure how many games Jay played for us, but it certainly wasn't near enough for a FS qualification, for what it is worth.

I haven't followed this thread throughout - which year draft is Billy set for?

He was talking about Harry Vineys dad Jay in whether he is eligible for father son.

it seems we need all our father/sons to move to S.A. as it looks like a good production line coming out of that state..of good hard footy players :)

Interesting with the article. I could read it straight up on the iPad but got the paywall on the desktop?

Sorry - I should have included the post to which I was replying - there was a reference to Harry Viney, son of Jay in one of the posts and I was referring to him.

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the

Join us LIVE on Monday night at 8:30pm—note that this special time is just for this week due to prior commitments. We'll break down the Match SIM against North Melbourne and wrap up the preseason with insights into training and our latest recruits. I apologize for skipping our annual season review show at the end of last season. After a disapponting season filled with off-field antics and a heated trade week, I needed a break. Thankfully, the offseason has recharged me, and I’m back—ready t
