Hard to vote when we played so poorly but I just want to give props to Bartram who continues a remarkable form turnaround by doing a great job on Brent "whinging [censored]" Harvey.

Jaded I am not a fan but he was one of the few 4 qtr performers today.

But... but.... he makes me want to kill myself.

His decision making, his kicking, his... ARGH!

Either I've lost my mind, or you are all crazy

I'm surprised not many people are giving Bartram votes. He shut down their best player, who tends to kill us each time we play them. Bartram haters (I'm on that list) are eating multiple servings of humble pie right now.

Thought everyone was putrid except Davey who kept hitting targets, Jones, Bartram, J-Mac, Dunn and Green. Grimes and Bruce were above average.

Enough slaps; some sledges:

Martin, Rivers, Joel Mac (how many times do you want to kick into the man on the mark) and Ricky 'Russell Robertson' Petterd, who doesn't like chasing.

I am confident of a much better performance next week though.

6 Davey - amazing ball use

5 Green - our only effective forward all day

4 Bartram - great job on Harvey

3 Grimes - racked 'em up in defence and generally used it well

2 Scully - loved his 3rd quarter run. One of the architects of the comeback.

1 Dunn - liked his game today. He kept at it.

6: Grimes. This kid is mature beyond his years, his composure superb.

5: Green. I enjoy watching you. Thanks for the effort.

4: Dunn. He is fast becoming a very versatile player.

3: Bartram. I for one have had to swallow my pride and admit the lad has improved. Did well on Harvey.

2: Jamar. Not his best, but still good.

1: Bennell. At least he was a moving target and not a stationery one!

im surprised at how many people rated davey's game, i thought he was poor. wasted a lot of the bal, trying to be too cute etc.

and i thought that jones was pretty average. yeah he got a bit of it around packs, but did not run or present when he needed too and looked slow and unfit at times, especially compared with his last few weeks.

you are joking?

I have no idea how harvey didn't end up with 40 touches

Bartram's idea of a "tag" is to stand by him at a stoppage run with him for 15m then get puffed and drop off.

Happened about 20 times. I hate harvey with a passion but his gut running is phenomenal

After the 2nd quarter I wasn't concerned with the result and wondered how Bartam was doing and watched non stop the 3rd quarter.

Needs a lesson from Jones from st kilda or Ling

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
