I don't really want to go because im not sure i could sit there and watch us get a hiding considering what collingwood has done to geelong and west coast but i will go because i want to see all the pre game stuff. The legends doing a lap around the ground and see how we respond after todays insipis performance.

For some reason we always find a way to beat the pies on queens birthday. Please let it happen again

I always go to the QB match, biggest match of the year. So far this year we've put in against quality opposition (Fremantle excluded of course), this will be a massive test and a chance to really play for the club with pride and passion. DB should get Barrassi and co to talk to the players before the game, make sure they know how lucky they are to be playing for the MFC.

I'm going and I will be in a corporate box that a collingwwod supporter mate of mine has offered me to join him in. Probably my only chance to go to the mcg and be in a corporate box, so my hands are tied. Just hope we put in a good show or its going to be a hard day. But I will drink all the [censored] if things look bad and hopefully pass out before the end of the game  . But on the other hand if we get up it would be close to near the best thing I have ever done.

Don't forget...WELCOME TO JUNE COLLINGWOOD!

I'll be there with bells on, bring them on. They aren't that good, they are just playing with passion.

If we can come with some intensity we're a chance.

Course we'll all bloody be there!

How could you not?!? It's Queen's Birthday, our most bitter rivals. The Sunday of the QB match is like Christmas eve, drama tension, excitement. Gameday is amazing.

Sure we might get spanked, but if you cant support your team in our (ONLY!!!) blockbuster then really!

We got spanked in '01,'02,'03 and looked like getting done in '04, but how sweet was it when we finally won it.

Don't care about the result, it's the one game of the year i will not miss! For anything!

I have 2 exams the next day, so I'll be studying at half time. I think that's a fair compromise ;)

hahahaha....

I will be there. Thick and thin, stay Red & Blue!

We have enjoyed beating the filth for 4 years in a row, maybe we win, maybe we lose, it doesn't matter, just as long as you support them any way you can.

You never know, the filth are known to absolutely choke when their expected to win, i think it will be clsoer than people think...

Yeah, they choked real bad vs West Coast on Saturday...

Still think we will do better than what people think. Maybe we're Collingwood's 'bogey side'.

I have a three hour exam that starts at 2.30 on Monday.

They couldn't have timed it any worse...

That is so harsh man. Stupid Universities.

I will be there with my kid, probably even joining in the March to the G. Not confident of seeing a win but I will settle for heaps of endevour.

Have to go , want to ggo ..anm going .

Have lined up a couple of mates ( who are filth as it happens ) to go. Couldnt back out of it even if I considered that, which I dont

Will we win?? lol.. I dont think the bookies will have us as fav, still be interesting to see what the line bet will be.

I just ask Melbourne to make a ferocious game of it..take no prisoners, relentless tackling. Make them pay double to take the 4 points. This IS Collingwood after all :) and who knows...this is wobbly month after all !!

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
