I'm not sure I want to watch the replay, but can anyone who has, I'm not mistaken am I, Richmond were often bringing +2 up to the stoppage, right?

Yze tried to clog up the ground like our 2025 contest.

That’s Harshill. He’s only been in Australia for a couple of years but he’s as crazy in love with the Dees as the next rusted-on supporter. Now his partner is just as passionate and she arrived in Australia more recently than he did.

What an absolute champ. Love his passion.

A Royal Command Performance?

Fit for a 👑?

Isn’t it just!

Except my phone is pinging off its nut with comments on that banner. One friend I hadn’t heard from for nearly two years messaged me saying “WTF were you guys thinking?” 😅

Would have thought it was obvious.

Musings on the unbalanced free kick count:

  1. Umps rightly pinged them for making zero attempt to dispose of ball when tackled.

  2. We made the play

  3. We have photos

  4. ?

Brutal

Most accurate appraisals are. However, now that potentially Culley has a serious injury might open an avenue. But he was never quick and is a ball butcher, so an injury like his is a hit to his pace again. OR do some on here disagree!?

Viney is DONE, slow before injury and now?? Really will struggle with Kings strategies! Happy for him to go to Norf for a packet of chips

Disrespectful.

You took the words right out of my mouth QD.😁

Kozzie arrived at the club with hardness, elite speed, evasive and kicking skills.

He's improved his pack marking and developed elite creativity and fitness.

He could truly be anything. In baseball they'd call him a 5 tool player, HOF stuff.

Huh, DH has the day off and we are definitely in Victoria. Interesting. I'm self-employed now so what is a day off?

Today is a PH and with days like ANZAC day they are never moved or get a day in lieu to the Monday unless your company chooses to or it’s written in your EBA so you always get a day off like my EBA says 😃

We watched the game at home (4 of us) I found it difficult to watch I thought that Yze used his troops well to try and take away our running game where ever possible. They still have some older heads and a lot of youngsters who had a red hot crack, however I never felt threatened even though we were missing targets a lot and just messing up scoring opportunities that ruined our good work upfield. Both teams playing off a five day break would have strained players on both sides and I kept thinking when are you going to finish these Tiges off. Liked that we stayed in front for most of the night and loved our conversation rate as we finally got on top. Kozzie is brilliant courageous and unstoppable, he was well supported by another superb Team effort that ground the Tiges down and finished them off with a flurry of goals late in the third and final quarters. Kozzie won the “Checker” Hughes Medal, spoke really well and we enjoyed the after game show where Spaz won the Brownies Meat Tray.

Absolutely Gutted for Jai Culley one of my faves, Good Luck Jai.🥲🤞

PS ( That should be conversion)

OUCH! SHOTS FIRED!!!

JK. 😅 Our little drummer boy is only 11 years old and he’s already a kickarze drummer.

Moreover, what you heard last week WASN’T Irish music. It’s a Christian hymn titled Lord Of The Dance written by an English songwriter 60 years ago. People associate it with Ireland because Michael Flately, the Irish-American choreographer/dancer of Riverdance fame, called one of his hugely popular shows Lord Of The Dance.

A band called The Dubliners player Lord of the Dance long before Flatley had his dance show. You are right that it’s not traditional Celtic music as such, but it is well-adopted in Ireland 🇮🇪

Checkers set shot from 50 on the boundary was elite. He did it a couple of weeks ago as well ( vs suns?). Noboby else I’d rather have holding the ball

We have now been in the top 4 for a full 24 hours of footy, folks.

It’s not much, but after the nightmare that was the last two seasons, it sure feels good.

Funnily enough, the last time we finished a round inside the top 4 was actually in one of those nightmare seasons - Round 11, 2024. Indeed, we were in the top 4 for 7 out of 10 weeks from Rounds 2-11 that year.

Fell out in Round 12 when we were annihilated by Fremantle in Alice Springs and spent just one more week in the top 8, let alone top 4, until this year.

If the Giants beat North tomorrow we will end the round in 4th. I don't know what's more unbelievable that we would be 4th after 7 rounds or that North could be the team to replace us.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
