Top 10 ?
After that he's #1.

Nah . . . no.1 is Nick Diacos, 2 is Josh Daicos, 3 is Pendles, 4 is Siddy and 5 is McStay.

What a glorious sunny morning to wake up and be 5 and 2!

Isn’t it just!

Except my phone is pinging off its nut with comments on that banner. One friend I hadn’t heard from for nearly two years messaged me saying “WTF were you guys thinking?” 😅

If the media bothered to show up to our training sessions then they would have got the story about kozzie being absent.

And it's good that it didn't get leaked.

I like how kingy just dropped it as if it was no big deal which it seems it wasn't.

I mean kingy did say at the beginning of the season they'd do whatever they could to support him.

In 35 years I can’t remember a game where the umpires were so in our favour

Some of the calls were unbelievable

Long may it continue

payback for 50 years of abuse.

If Tom Sparrow hadn't played his best game ever a couple of weeks ago, I'd say this was definitely Tom Sparrow's best game ever. Ooo-eee didn't take him long to start emerging from shadows and filling big boots etc etc

Windsor busy busy busy

Langdon appears to be restabilising at a very good standard after some wobbles in form in 2025.

Couple of great tackles from Fritsch made me happy. I always love seeing players do well in a weaker area.

I really enjoyed seeing several of the young players still make sure they were contributing even if it wasn't so much their day.

Speaking of which...

I saw it...

I saw the Bailey Laurie upside!

And wow does that man love his club, his teammates and simply being a part of football.

not the only Windsor who’s been busy, busy, busy.

Down from Darwin, backed the double this last week. Tigers made a game of it for x3 Qt. Thought they royally got the rough end of the pineapple from the umpiring fraternity. (Nice not to be on the receiving end for a change).

Pleased the “playing like millionaires” phase was dumped after 3/4 quarter time. Last quarter produced some exhilarating stuff. Kysaiah was on fire, literally lit up the ‘G”. We saw of the Tiger challenge with aplomb.

Loved the Anzac Eve ceremony and the pageantry of the occasion. Much prefer the Irish ☘️ music and jig to the cheer squad drum? Post goal celebration. Musicality always wins.

Fritsch plays tackles like the Queanbeyan cops play speeding fines - saves the whole month's quota for the last week.

Viney is DONE, slow before injury and now?? Really will struggle with Kings strategies! Happy for him to go to Norf for a packet of chips

If you know anything about the mfc you'll know we probably should treat the Vineys with the utmost respect not like we did with junior back in the day.

Jack bleed for our club from day 1 and when we were rubbish put his body on the line for our jumper like no one ever has for this club..

Give him as long as he likes, at the very least he is the perfect back up to steel and teaches the young ones how to prepare for the big time..

Whatever one wins for mark of the year should be mailed to kozzy immediately.

Best mark I’ve ever seen at the footy.

Jarrrrrrrah!

Interesting if it was a tactic but we seemed to give Richmond a relatively easy exit (wide) from defence and relied on closing them down between centre and our half backline. If deliberate it was smart as it went some way to opening up our forward line.

The good thing is that there's definitely room for improvement. Some of those forward mess ups were comical.

Hard to see Richmond moving off the bottom but you have to admire their supporters for turning up.

Now onto the Swans in Sydney.

In my mind it really could have been 6 and 1. To lose to Essendon was so frustrating.

Had all the hallmarks of an MFC classic. Prestia winding back the block, Lynch slotting them from the boundary, no namers and debutants looking a million bucks.

But we did it. And quite easily in the end at that.

A lot has been mentioned of Sparrow and Kozzy and rightly so because they’re studs. But how about Jeffo?? Looked good to me. I expect him to miss every single shot and he proved me wrong two times out of three!

Not totally convinced he’ll be there in 10 years time but seen enough to think he might be OK at the top level.

Part of me actually thinks we can and will beat Sydney. Kingyball got me thinking cray cray things.

Go Dees!

And here’s me thinking it’s their football ability.

Maybe watch the replay, Laurie and fritch were far from poor games. I’ve never seen Bailey tackle like that, definitely enjoying his footy.

I watched the entire game, so let's just say we disagree.

I am one of those who has been calling to give Laurie a run of games and am glad he is getting it. Yes, his 2nd half was much better and his pressure was OK, but his output continues to lack penetration, and his 1st half was really poor.

Fritsch had great last quarter, but his game was ear-marked with missed tackles, disinterested or non existent 2nd efforts, and silly little selfish decisions.

WTF is the media’s problem. They are trying it bagging our medicos again, drawing links between Culley, Petty and Petracca injuries and failings of our medicos. The club need to call this stuff out. You are questioning experts. No club doctor should be subject to such scrutiny.

Gary? Is that you?!

The game finally turned at 9 mins to go in the third.

it was still up for grabs.

But Sparrow...Jvr and then Jeffo all contributed for the latter to score a goal.

And then we kept them at bay by four goals.

We had a very lucky run from those beautiful umpires ( never thought I'd utter those words) but then we probably missed four very easy goals and in reality, it was probably a 75 point win.

Credit to our fitness coaches. We seem to be finishing full of speed and poured on goals in the last.

And Max was playing injured but really changed the direction of centre clearances in the third and a fair bit in the last.

It's good to know Heath has some skill.

And KP is worth every penny we paid.

Post game interview he said his plans were to go to another level.

I can't imagine what that would be but I'd love to see it.

It was good to see players step up when some after purple patches faded out.

For instance Chandler killed the first and Fritta stepped up in the last.

A few youngsters need to improve but they are getting valuable game time.

Credit to Richmond for taking it up to us but we always should have one by ten goals v a team with six losses. Given our previous big scalps.

But on a big stage with a huge crowd, things are different. Players are more motivated so Tigers bought their definite A game.

I don't know how the Dons got the drop on us but sometimes it happens.

We haven't played well over in stupid Gather round. I say the Afl gets rid off.

Talk about tone deaf about the cost of living. People can't drive their cars interstate to watch a game when they are actually living in them.

Even in Melbourne taking one's family to a game can add up. 150 doesn't go far. Train or parking.....food and beer costs ....if you buy it....a record....ticket prices if you can't afford a mship.

The latter will push things well over 200 dollars. Maybe it's good games are interstate as you have a valid excuse for your kids that you can't go and not tell them you can't afford it.

I guess we are at least unbeatable at the G. The Swans are going to be really tough. They have the best fwd line in the comp. A % of almost 180. Yikes. And from five of their six wins have scored over 100 points.

It's not just Curnow, there is Armatey who I think is better. Then Heeney and Papley. But the one I think we will have trouble covering is Warner Plus Grundy has finally become somewhat of a goal kicker. And there is also Logan Mcdonald. Some of these like Paps and Heeney aren't talls. But they are danger players like Chandler and Fritta with an uncanny sense of where the goals are and both good marks. They are not slow either.

So assuming Grundy plays fwd then there are five decent talls to cover.

Petty might still be out. Point is, it's going from playing bottom of the latter at home to top of ladder away.

At least we won't go in over confident 😀

Hopefully we can starve them of fwd entries and dominate the centre.

Maybe they will have trouble with our smalls in Kp and Chandler and AMW who I hope comes in for Laurie and gets time in the middle.

Maybe our speed will surprise them but they aren't exactly a team of turtles so it's going to be our toughest game.

Win this and we play finals for sure.

What a strange post, bad parts stand out more then our good parts, wow watch out AFL, you're way off the mark, and Fritsch 15 despots 2 goals 7 score involments, yes he had 1 stupid moment, but who's perfect? The bicy and the whipping of Bailey is unbelievable by you and you're cohorts

Me and my cohorts... Fritsch and his despots...

I am actually one of those who has been asking for Laurie to be given a run of games and am glad he is getting it. His improved 2nd half does not gloss over his very poor first half.

Fritsch had a lot more poor moments in the first 3 quarters than 1 stupid moment, followed by an insanely good last quarter.

Neither of them are whipping boys or a focal point for whinging tirades. But they both produced very frustrating games of footy.

Now, back to my cohorts and despots.

Exactly what I was thinking - gotta be his highest number, if not right up there!

It really stood out for me

Yeah that's what I keep thinking after our wins, 6 & 1 would be so good

He has got eight tackles a couple of times but yesterdays 6 equals his current seasons total before ANZAC day game.

OUCH! SHOTS FIRED!!!

JK. 😅 Our little drummer boy is only 11 years old and he’s already a kickarze drummer.

Moreover, what you heard last week WASN’T Irish music. It’s a Christian hymn titled Lord Of The Dance written by an English songwriter 60 years ago. People associate it with Ireland because Michael Flately, the Irish-American choreographer/dancer of Riverdance fame, called one of his hugely popular shows Lord Of The Dance.

Shh he is a premiership player who has had a bad injury who also happens to be our vice captain. A little respect is needed PF.

phallic representation

Yep, quite the cockup by the Richmond Cheer Squad.

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
