  1. Surprised by those calling for a Jefferson inclusion. The bloke seems to dominate at VFL, but does very little at AFL level. He has not managed to build his body much at all. The Brisbane backs would shred him. Kentfield, on the other hand, is a big unit and had impressed in the preseason. I’d be much more inclined to bring him in. Plus, he is a swing man if needed. Heath should also be given a shot. He can clunk marks too, so him going deep forward could stretch the opposition. We are a quality midfielder short and Windsor and Lindsay ain’t it. Rivers was supposed to step up, but there is something fishy going on there
  2. A week is long time in football as they say.
  3. Footy is really fun again! These blokes are rocking up and doing their thing. The belief is growing by the minute, in every game. It’s brilliant to see. The even contribution we are getting is what is really impressive. Umpire 22, Williamson, is a POS. Has been umpiring that way against us for years. Couldn’t even hide his blatant bias today. Must be on the nepo baby payroll Uppppaaa the Deeeees!
  4. Happy to get around him, again, but he has had plenty of chances. Not sure what you mean he never got a chance. Sadly, like many before him, he is very good at VFL level, but struggles to produce at the top level. He is too small as a mid and seems limited in terms of foot skills under pressure. Goes well at Casey in front of 300 ppl, but his poor disposal shows up on the big stage. If he can overcome that, he has attributes
  5. Right…I had solid mail that Fritta was out for 6 weeks, broken foot bone. Now he isn’t named as an out, I’m totally baffled. Is it a stiff up by the comma team. Is my mail bad? Seems like a really odd situation
  6. Pays to read posts. Broken bone in his foot. Unsure if it’s the same foot he had troubles with last season. Terrible news either way
  7. Melksham in for Fritta.
  8. Fritta is out for 6 weeks
  9. you answered your own question
  10. Matt Rowell is confirmed as playing for the GC.
  11. sure..happy to persist ...but his output is seriously 'of concern'. He drops many easy marks..its not isolated...his disposal is appalling. His key attribute is his the pace and side 'step. He'd want to lift in coming weeks.
  12. they reported 20k. lowest crowd in Geelong since the redevelopment. Side note: Anyone hear ANB after the loss interviewed by the broadcaster? He said that there will be a lot of "learnings" for the young Crows. Straight out of the Goodwin playbook
  13. They'd want to be pretty confident. Been hearing the same stuff for years.
  14. Does anyone know whether we will be coming out onto the ground via the same race this week? I saw soemthing, somehwere, saying it is permanent...why? Can someone enlighten me. I thought we always used the race in the Members. We used to have the one in the red seats
