Still can't believe the mad King (Aerys II) got rid of him for nothing 🤬

Clarrie showing off his potty mouth again.

Still a bit upset how even Trac wrote a farewell / thank you message to dees fans and Clarry didn’t even bother. Fans loved and adored him but I guess he was so upset with the club. We move on wish him the best but glad his drama has left our club

Clarry. will you ever learn?

reporters at the start of preseason training is hardly harassment. just doing their job

Grow up and lose the victim mentality

LOL. Did he know that it was the Giants media guy that stuck a microphone in his face? Glad he's not our problem any more.

It was all staged! Let’s all move on from him. It’s bad enough that he is still on our payroll

looks like they don't sell combs up in sydney either

It’s definitely going to hurt watching him and Trac in 26. Even so I still think the calls were right.

Hope Viney gets into the red nut

That's the fittest I have seen him look day #1 of preseason for 3-4 years...

Maybe so but I highly doubt he’ll get back to his best. Even if he does we will know it was never possible at MFC.

I won’t begrudge Clayton or Christian a good career post Dees but will be to busy following their replacements and hoping that we get our development and game plan right to be fretting about our two former stars.

We're actually paying him to play elsewhere.

Maybe think about what kind of situation you would need for such an outcome.

Looks in ripping nick. Unfortunately we did not trade Clazz the player or athlete rather the person it seems.

What could have been 😪

Time to move on, he doesn’t love us anymore & we’ve got some great kids to support

For the crappy pick we got for him and considering we are paying part of his wage. I hope we don't end up getting EGG on our faces. Personally I wouldn't let him go for nix. Let him take a paycut if he wanted out so badly.

U must be kidding, he will have a STELLAR year and we will have a dozen eggs on our faces, King has a LOT to answer for! We are paying around 650 K of his salary to play elsewhere!! How typically Melbourne!

Was the other player hanging out and laughing with him Toby Bedford?

Looks like him. I think so.

It's been a great journey but Clarrie ain't a Demon no more.

Do us all a favour WJ and shut this thread down.

  • GAMEDAY: Richmond

It's Game Day on Friday night. ANZAC Eve. The big stage at the ‘G. The Demons return to the spotlight for one of our most significant nights on the football calendar, taking on the Tigers in a clash that always carries extra weight given the gravity of occasion of the commemoration of the ANZAC Spirit. Under the lights, in front of a packed house, this is where moments are made. Can the Dees rise to the occasion and deliver on the big stage, or will Richmond spoil the night? All the build-up, discussion, and in-game reactions here. Go Dees.

Round 7 is here, with the ANZAC commemoration games taking centre stage. Who are you tipping this week, and which results would be most favourable for the Demons?

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

  • REPORT: Brisbane

Before Sunday, the last time the Brisbane Lions had walked onto the turf of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, they celebrated the pinnacle of the sport - an AFL premiership secured in emphatic fashion for the second consecutive year.

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
