Brilliant that Disco and Bill can be great contributors. Not sure I want Petty in the side for a while. Doesn't appear invested.

A win is a win. Wasn’t our best but we got the job done against a game but very limited tiges outfit.

Disco was very good and great to see bill laurey come on and kick his 2 goals.

Petty a major concern. I think a run at casey to build up his confidence the sensible thing to do.

We’ll need to be much better if we want to beat the Cats and Carlton.

Go Dees

Happy for Disco but that was a porridge game to watch.

Im not sure whats happened in the last 2 weeks.

Is Eileen Cannon the judge in Marlion Pickett's court case?

Pros: 4 points, Disco! BOG by a country mile. The kids, generally.

Cons: Lots of our stars quiet/sloppy. Too many turnovers. Not saying we will lose against the cats/blues, but if we play like that, we will. Need to sharpen up. Quick. Oh and Petty, the poor man’s Disco. WOG by a mile. Off to Casey pls.

Not very convincing but 4 pts, go Dees

Jackson 2.0?

About 6 minutes of that game was enjoyable.

Clanger city, just real ugly stuff.

Disco!. Amazing what an agile strong tall does to our front half

Got the win but gees. We're gonna get smashed by Carlton and Geelong if we don't get out act together. So many mistakes. Relying too much on too few.

Regulation 40 point win

😬

Great to have Turner break out

How can I enjoy a 7 goal win so little?

Horrible, horrible, horrible unpressured kicking. No reasonable excuse or reason. So much great turnover football at half back then trash kicking through midfield and into F50.

Petty? Looks disinterested and lacking intensity. Needs a Casey run to get his mojo back. Give me a clumsy ageing BBB.

No way can we continue with Howes, Woewodin, Windsor, Howes and Laurie all in the same team.

Another game where the best Dees midfield I have seen in my lifetime gets owned/equalled by an injured rebuilding one. Can't tell you how much I hate that.

Hats off to Lever, May, Gawn and Langdon. Well done Tuner and Fritsch for their cameos. Laurie impacted well when he came on.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
