Lions coaching staff knew it.
Dogs coaching staff knew it.
Goody can’t figure it out.

He knew it during our last final.

How could that possibly not be a 50 to McVee.  He was on the ground after being paid the free and the Swan went for him .  Poor indecision.

Two clear opportunities at centre clearances totally and utterly f###ed by senior players. Why Jack? Why are to trying to take the entire swans team on?!

Because he had to do it all himself. He’s been an absolute warrior.

Look to Laurie, Sparrow etc who have given him zero support.

Game over. What a waste of time.

So who do we have fit in the VFL to come in next week?

Outs in Laurie, Chandler, Spargo.

That might be it.

The learnings are the same.

No big fwd who can kick goals.

I hope Bbb can get back to something.

Wait for the "learnings" speech by our premiership coach post game.

Nup Max is just off.

Maybe, can’t deny Grundy hasn’t deliberately contributed to that. He’s followed the same pattern all game and Horse is a waaaayyyyy better game day coach that Goodwin.

Lot of people here mocked Grundy and called him a plodder.

has smashed maxy tonight. And been very very handy.

Haven't found players by foot most of the night.

Too many panic up and under kicks.

No run & carry.

Too many dropped marks and fumbles.

Sydney has ruled the ground ball and more sure by hand when they get hold of it

Chandler and Spargo are no goal sneaks.

I hope Kozzie doesn't get reported again.

He's let his mates down.

I know we don't have any options other than Schache but gee whiz it's been three years since Jackson left we replaced him with Grundy and then gave up.

Well done goody Grundy is valued at the swans

Yeah because he's the number 1 ruck. Plus it's the perfect ground for him.

This has been very disappointing against a side missing their best mids. Same issues as far as I can see, lack of forward connection, poor disposal by foot and overuse of the handball. Windsor has done well in his first game.

Oh please. He didn’t turn in one effort half as good for us. That’s not anyone’s fault but his.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
