Demonland 74,410 Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 It was an ugly affair on the Big Stage at the MCG on Friday night but the Demon's defence held strong holding Carlton to six goals to grind out a win and keep their spot on the Top Four for another week. 4 1 2 Quote
Straight Sets Simon 23,113 Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 It will be good for our players to see a ruthless team in Collingwood up close next week. They should learn a lot. 1 2 Quote
Orion 332 Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 We played terribly. We won because Carlton were more terrible than us 14 Quote
Bitter but optimistic 22,289 Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 It wasn't great ! It wasn't pretty ! ..... but we did what we had to do - we put put away the pretenders! We may have given Voss a send off also ! 10 1 Quote

Axis of Bob 11,944 Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 (edited) Really good game from our perspective. Got that solidity behind the ball back. Really good signs. Contested possession +29. inside 50s +20. clearances +9. Smashed them all over the ground. I don’t know what most people want from the team. Without looking, I assume it’s just groupthink from the Gameday thread. Edited June 2, 2023 by Axis of Bob 40 4 1 1 Quote

Demon Jack 7,194 Posted June 2, 2023 Posted June 2, 2023 Salem was awesome tonight. Was great to see him in full flight running through the middle in the third quarter. Bowey was also great before he was concussed. 31 1 Quote
