old dee 24,083 Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Thank god this game is on the Gold coast, can you imagine going to the game this Saturday at the G for a 4.30 start. Max temp 13 for the day with showers. Kayo with a nice red sounds like heaven by comparison. 4 1 1
AzzKikA 2,371 Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 In regards to it being tough to break into the team, I really do hope that anybody that has a niggle is being rested when they should. Don't want the same thing to happen this year as last getting to the back end of the season and those players with niggles playing when they shouldn't be. 1
Hellaintabadplacetobe 4,335 Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Wow some big outs for GC! Weller Holman and Ainsworth 3
kryton101 411 Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Hmm no Spargo - you don’t wanna get an injury with this team, hard to get back in! 7

At the break of Gawn 4,514 Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Where’s Spargo? Also, surely Hibberd is a late out and someone like Schache comes back in so Petty can go down back? Suns have got 3x 195cm+ forwards and they’ve brought in Casboult. Weather forecast also says it’ll be a dry game. 1

Or maybe he simply didn't make the team purely because how well we're travelling and the form of Pickett, Nibbler and now Chandler who are just much more dynamic at ground level. It's a hard side to crack. He'll just need to bide his time. 7

He’s kicked 2 goals three times in 4 and a bit games and was his usual self with score involvements and goal assists. 14 1
Big Col 1,356 Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Harmes for sub IMHO. With the VFL the game before the seniors, are players withheld in case of an injury during warm-up? Perhaps one of the other emergencies get pulled out of the VFL game at half-time in case we end up needing them as a sub, and the player who was supposed to be sub, gets promoted? 2
Fanatique Demon 2,764 Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 The team announced has players in their normal positions!!! (Probably means Fritter will be at CHB.) 1 5

If he plays in the VFL game on Saturday prior to the one's game you'd assume concussion is not a concern. Edited May 4, 2023 by binman 5

Nice warm days around 23-27degrees and cool nights so expect first half to be in warmish conditions then maybe the cool night air will come down around 5.30- 6.00 pm. By that time I hope we are heaps in front. 1
dazzledavey36 56,337 Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 (edited) Some big outs for GC. The ones missing have played a significant impact in some of those win this year. Edited May 4, 2023 by dazzledavey36 1 3
Bystander 903 Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Personal opinion: Spargo may be stranded in Casey team for some time. 2

Yes will be hard gig as Casey forward line is currently land of the giants. Lots of roving opportunities but very hard to apply pressure by yourself….
rumpole 539 Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Hibbo is odds on favourite for this week’s mystery player of the week. 1

BDA 23,048 Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Spargo not named a surprise if he has passed protocols. Shows how fierce the competition is for spots if he’s fit.
