Which picks are involved?

Given it's SEN (Hutchy) probably some sort of AFL aassistance package in excess of Norf's (although i doubt that will ever be beaten unless the Pies or Blues spent a few years down the bottom)

Jack Gunston wanting to return to Hawks, do we have a dabble at him?  Probably not with McAdam nominating us

Might have been a good get a couple of years ago when we were rumoured to have interest, but surely not now given his age and the McAdam trade

Bizarre for him to be requesting a move back after only one year, will be curious to see whether the Hawks will take him back 🤔

Maybe Derwayne and Eddie can be added to the deal, to make it totally unlistenable.

Made me have a look whether this happened before. Apparently Justin Murphy played with Blues 2000, Cats for 2001 then back to Blues in 2002.

It's happened a few times - Gary Ablett Jnr, Trent Croad, Dayne Beams, Peter Bell etc...

What’s our status of drafting atm on a fwd as to date not hearing much with all of our talls with ongoing injury issues.. all we have done is strengthened the Swans with Grundy & Jordan & they also got Adams, Harmes is gone also …who are our back up mids as we have  Gus with concussion issues & a well documented other one, understanding they have cleared a fair bit of cap space. With our fwd line consisting of brown, t Mac & petty all with injuries… let’s hope something is done

Yeah, happened a lot, was just more looking at a player that leaves their club, the next year plays for another club, then returns to their club after a year. Justin Murphy only player I found that has done that in the AFL era.

You’ve gotta be careful with these type of picks.

I’ve seen people get as deep as the second knuckle and literally change their mind. 😏

If successful, you gain a skill increase in lockpicking and 'Congratulations, your nose is now open'.

If your skill is too low, then there is a risk every time that you will give yourself a cerebral hemorrhage.

Make of it what you will.

No different to the 3rd pick we gave for Hunter.

Clubs are happy to act in good faith in these situations.

Yeah fair point. It shows how ridiculous the compensation picks are. Gresham in my opinion is a mid range player and they effectively get pick 20 for him. I'd argue a Hunter/Harmes type is worth pick 20-30 as well.

1. What a joke. 2. Harmes is just as good and 3. has a premiership medal.

1. Yes.

2. Yes, but Graham has more years in him

3, Yes, but Graham doesn't want a premiership medal - not even interested in a finals.

LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die! After a bright start to the season, playing mostly in defence, Howes seemed to lose his way in midseason but fought back with some good performances at Casey and finished the year back at AFL level. Originally an NBL basketballer with the Brisbane Bullets, he moved across town in 2019 to the AFL Lions where he played 19 games before crossing to Melbourne where he was expected to fill a role as a back up ruckman/key forward. Sadly, had to wrap up a great career in midstream on the back of multiple concussions which culminated in the Maynard hit in the 2023 Qualifying Final. His loss to the club was inestimable over and above his on field talent given his character and leadership qualities, all of which have been sorely missed. The son of former Demon Brownlow Medalist Shane, Taj added a further 16 games to his overall tally of games but a number were as substitute.
