Same.

And don’t forget the following day is Family Day. Depending on which long-range forecast you’re looking at the top temperature will be somewhere between 20 - 35. 🤷‍♀️ But whatever the weather conditions, we’re hoping for a really big turnout. ❤️💙

We should torch them

We should escape the Ross Lyon vice grip somewhere in the 3rd to last and win by 4-5 goals. If the Saints have improved and are playing at their peak.

Me too! I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited for a pre-season game, and your training reports are a big reason why 😃

I don't even know what an RSEA is, but I've always imagined it pronounced to rhyme with "classy".

Stands for Reserved seating every area.. @ RESA Park.

Do you have inside word that it's on Fox/KAYO?

At the moment they've programmed GWS V WC from last year on from 4-6pm on the 24th of Feb, and the media have previously announced that only the second round of practice matches (March 2-4) will be televised.

I'm thinking or hoping it will be a live stream from the club if it's not on Fox.

That's correct BBB the Tigers game is on Fox/Kayo and a real live stream would need to be done by the Club for this Saints game to be on TV.

Yeah, sounds like these week 1 praccy game will be on Kayo but not Foxtel.

The Foxtel tv guide has already scheduled live games for week 2 (ie - Melb V Rich) but nothing for next weekend.

Same formula as last pre season. Kayo graphics and their own commentators for the first week of praccy games.

Maybe the head of the ground-naming committee was a member of the N.A.D. (National Dyslexia Association). 😜

RSEA Safety is a Sponsor of St Kilda and must have paid naming rights for the old Moorabbin Oval.

It’s scheduled to be 35 at first bounce at this stage. Too hot IMO.

Maybe they could look at pushing the game back to 7pm given the venue has adequate lighting (or at least I think they do??)

Or delay it until Sunday in 23 degrees.

Ridiculous to play in 36 degrees with predicted thunderstorms.

This is Melbourne you are talking about - probably end up being cool and wet.

Am coming down from NSW so hoping for a cool change

Except that the next day is also hot, so more likely correct.

Does anyone know if they charge to watch????? Members I'd imagine wouldn't pay, but how about the average punter?

Would love to see Chandler take Spargo or ANBs spot to see if it work during the year

Good to see them featuring Max King who won't be playing for the first 4-5 rounds!

And no Membrey, so that's another player who always kicks a bag against us.

Will be almost a pointless exercise for us, and with the expected heat, why would you bother?  Still it will give the Aints fans plenty of excuses......

Was there today for my sons pre season training (u11s). The ground is very lush! Has 6-7 lights but it won’t be very bright.

Doubt the game will go ahead as planned with that forecast.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
