But Stringer missed the 2 first games, was MIA in round 3 and had his one good game for the year on the weekend but is in the top 10 🤔

Yeah, but can kick a goal with a torp from outside 50.

So watchable.

‘Litter’ being the operative word.

Hilarious stuff from Dwayne

I take whatever is said on SEN, 7 etc with a grain of salt.  They're all beholden to their masters and the mega broadcasting contracts / $$ on offer.  Tow the AFL line, always push / promote the big clubs (by number of members) and don't rock any boats!

Very much a directed and muzzled bunch now.  Anyone that speaks their mind is at risk.

I wonder if Cooney's spot on 'Armchair Experts' is at risk after speaking his mind about concussion on that d'[censored] reality show lately (no i didn't watch it...saw him on a promo).  Don't think Gil would've been too happy.

I realse every man and his dog wants to know whether Kozzie wants to stay or go.

I believe the MFC has tabled an offer and he must now decide whether to accept the offer or make a case for a better offer by the MFC or other suitors with performances on the field.

Only he knows and obviously has not shared the information at this stage, so we must not panic before he actually comes out with the answer

Can you sit next to our good friend Roost it far and hold his hand tightly

Nev is from Carey Park in Bunbury, not exactly outback, but I do agree he is someone’s who will consider Kozzie’s best interests in any advice given.

I was sitting near Byron at Optus on Sunday, good to see him looking happy and healthy and supporting both his nephew and the Dees

Level 3 just inside the 50m arc?

We all care, RIA.

But good god, man; get it together! There are limits to that care.

Dwayno is the most infuriatingly biased and clueless commentator there is. I cannot stand him one iota. Has no clue and cannot believe his contract with SEN gets renewed every year.

This list of his is so far off the mark it’s not funny. I mean he has Dusty in the top 10 and Trac and Oliver sitting outside of that..

Belongs in the same sales bin at Target with JB and BT.

Even Target wouldn’t put Derwaynne, JB and BT in their sales bin - now, maybe, The Reject Shop would be a far more appropriate place.

Law 16: Use Absence To Increase Respect and Honour.

The more present you are, the more common you appear. Create an air of scarcity around yourself to increase your perceived value. If you currently exist within an established group, intermittently withdraw so that others talk about you and admire you more.

333

I wasn’t there but sat in that area for the 21 PF hiding of the Cats. All the Picketts were there then so it might be their seating.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
