Kozzie clinic Viney was great

The rest are so out of form its frightening

Koz! The difference. Let’s not forget we had our best clearance player ever missing. We will continue to get better.

Take a second to realise how lucky we are to watch Kozzi play

What a grinding win that was.

Kossie, you are a little ripper. 3 Votes for you.

Forward connection still a problem. Thank heavens for our backline.

Melk.... your chase/rundown was something i didnt think you had in you.

I'll take that.

Kossie Pickett is a star. Magnificient performance today

We laboured for large parts but got the W. That's all that counts

Hopefully we can build on this and our form improves

Go Dees

Hot garbage.

Kosi magnificent. Hibbo and the defenders in general superb.
Midfield an epic let down. Bring back Oliver!

I think the only thing that tree on the outer is famous for is BT forever saying it’s famous.

Good win considering that bizarre start

good to see Goodwin can turn the attitude around at Q time.

A win's a win. That was a very forgettable game but a win was all we needed given that our place in the top 4 was on the line.

Our forwardline functioned better than it did last week. Pickett can take a bow. All his hard work finally paid off. It was nice to see Brown work his way into the game in the second half. While Melksham was relatively quiet, he rarely wasted possessions.

Tomlinson & Rivers great come back games

Kozzie a machine

Bedford has the talent but doubtful to see him for the rest of the year

Cya next week JVR?

What were Jake's stats I saw two missed kicks and low interest after that

Let’s concentrate on the positives … like we did last year - NO team is PERFECT … we can still go B to B Dee fans 👹💙❤️🙏🏻

I guess we won away from home against one of the in-form teams of the comp (they are only outside the 8 because they lost the first 5), without Oliver and continued forward line problems. Put it in the bank and move on.

  • REPORT: West Coast

On a night of counting, Melbourne captain Max Gawn made sure that his contribution counted. He was at his best and superb in the the ruck from the very start of the election night game against the West Coast Eagles at Optus Stadium, but after watching his dominance of the first quarter and a half of the clash evaporate into nothing as the Eagles booted four goals in the last ten minutes of the opening half, he turned the game on its head, with a ruckman’s masterclass in the second half.  No superlatives would be sufficient to describe the enormity of the skipper’s performance starting with his 47 hit outs, a career-high 35 possessions (22 of them contested), nine clearances, 12 score involvements and, after messing up an attempt or two, finally capping off one of the greatest rucking performances of all time, with a goal of own in the final quarter not long after he delivered a right angled pass into the arms of Daniel Turner who also goaled from a pocket (will we ever know if the pass is what was intended). That was enough to overturn a 12 point deficit after the Eagles scored the first goal of the second half into a 29 point lead at the last break and a winning final quarter (at last) for the Demons who decided not to rest their champion ruckman at the end this time around.

  • POSTGAME: West Coast

Following a disastrous 0–5 start to the season, the Demons have now made it three wins in a row, cruising past a lacklustre West Coast side on their own turf. Skipper Max Gawn was once again at his dominant best, delivering another ruck masterclass to lead the way.
