Where so far off our best footy it’s not funny just need to hope we get over the line somehow. It really is hard to believe where reigning premiers and second on the ladder at the moment.

Yup, said in a group chat, we have 5 games coming up and can easily lose them all. We haven’t been great all year, we have had great qtrs etc and got wins, but overall been good, but not great and if we play like we have been, including today, we are making up numbers.

BB is playing well. It’s not his fault we don’t have a player in the team who can hit him on the goddamn chest when he’s leading at the ball…

Fritta i would drop you if Tmac wasn't injured burnt another player in the goalsquare.

He is doing some selfish things of late.

I think his last two errors (pulling the kick from a set shot and playing on to handball to a teammate under pressure) was him trying to make amends for that early burn.

Just needs to play smart..

This is the truth. Talk loading, injuries and other stuff all we want but we qre simply not playing well enough right now.

Yes BBB was on the move clear of Aliir and Salem kicked it short i50 to Aliir's advantage 🤷

BBB getting marks in the wing and CHF. Need him inside 50 kicking goals. It’s our lack of Tmcd or a CHF that’s a killer !!

Weid or JVR would have been a better selection than Bedford.

It’s a shame cause his skills are sublime.

He’ll come into the game in the second half…. *casually crosses fingers*

We are butchering the ball, and I think the harder ground is making then ball bounce with higher variation because of it. So many fumbles from both clubs, from players who usually have clean hands. I don't understand the poor kicking though. So many unpressured kicks missing targets by a long way.

Our forward pressure is back on which is good, and our forward system is at last showing early signs of organisation, but it would be good to have someone actually taking a contested mark for a shot on goal.

Sparrow has such a huge upside, but he is quickly becoming a momentum killer. Some of his decision making is outright poor.

I thought Harmes, Trac, Langdon & Kozzie lifted well that quarter.

He’s also playing a heap of time in in the middle of the ground

edit: by middle I mean wings not on the ball

Liked Tomlinson today. Playing well.

Kozzie's been electri

Sparrow and Rivers working hard.

BBB doing some good things.

Dislike Petracca playing like a millionaire.

Mindless bombs into forwardline.

Maybe @bing181 can explain? You're big advocate for his selection.

I never advocated for his selection, nor for any player for that matter. I tried to understand the reasoning behind his call-up, from those who are paid to make those decisions.

Don’t know how you play well when you have a certain amount of injuries and are loading. Form isn’t a magical thing. It is often explainable.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
