Hope he has a better footy brain than his old man. Got a lot of it, but when under pressure........

I don't think that was the case at all. Hard, courageous , quick and reliable are the traits I remember. A very good footballer and flew under the radar due to the Bogan Prince of Primary School Poetry, the other Nathan Brown.

Great news. His old man was a very good player

Any info on his stature height weight speed??

Saw Nathan Browns first game vs Carltank years ago, shock of blond hair and Insane courage. Could play!🤩

Was there that day as well, didn't know who he was at first, thought he was there to give out oranges to the players at the break.

Was named BOG yesterday for Oakleigh Chargers gathering 25 disposals and kicking 1.3

This is a pretty fine display for an under-ager.

Pretty damn impressive, just his second game as well.

Kynan Brown had another good day at the weekend according to Rookie Me Central -

#44 Kynan Brown

In just his second NAB League outing, the bottom-aged Melbourne father-son candidate topped his side’s disposal chart with 25, including four scoring shots. After a steady start, he began to come to prominence with in-and-under work at the contest, producing second and third efforts aplenty to help will the ball out. He also provided a good deal of drive in the second half, bursting forward and kicking a clutch goal to draw level in the final quarter. That touch of polish is something Brown can refine going forward, though his effort was evident

Ok… tell him to slow it right down now please.

Why? He's a father son so we have first dibs.

Plus we will likely be finishing top 8 next year so if he goes top 10 we essentially get that for a (hopefully) pick 18 plus some change.

It was a joke.
However, if he goes early in the first round, we'd be handing over an entire drafts worth of picks.

As an underager it seems like he is not overawed!

29 disposals, 5 tackles, 8 marks, 6 I50's and a goal for our future father son recruit over the Western Jets yesterday.

Unfortunately Oakleigh got a touch up by the Jets, but young Kynan was prominent for the chargers.

As a coach, how you play in bad losses matters to me.

And thus, I can only assume he will play 200 games for the Dees and win multiple flags.

pitch perfect fat patricia GIF

This is a bit exciting! Sounds like a true toiler, winder if he kicks better than dad? 😛

He does!

Gee time flies, I remember being at a Swans game on Sat night in 2014 and was sitting near Doggie and the boys. They were mostly playing on an Ipad for most of the night haha.

  • GAMEDAY: St. Kilda

It's Game Day and there are only 5 games to go. Can the Demons find some consistency and form as they stagger towards the finish line of another uninspiring season?

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

It seems like only yesterday that these two sides faced off against each other in the centre of the continent. It was when Melbourne was experiencing a rare period of success with five wins from its previous six matches including victories over both of last year’s grand finalists.  Well, it wasn’t yesterday but it was early last month and it remains etched clearly in the memory. The Saints were going through a slump and the predicted outcome of their encounter at TIO Traeger Park was a virtual no-brainer. A Melbourne victory and another step closer to a possible rise into finals contention. Something that was unthinkable after opening the season with five straight defeats.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.
