Its our right but we are so keen to post our 3c worth it's become a free for all rubbish topic.  We don't  need to read most of the offerings as they are off the mark anyway.

There's some irony in this post

I heard all the hype about that show and watched the lot thinking "it's got to get better"

This is what’s really going on. And why we are so unfussed.

We will walk in pick 2 and probably something else and never look back and Jackson will take the giant wads of cash freed up by the aging list there.

I haven't checked this thread in a week. Good to see nothing has still happened 30 pages later

That's why I've been wanting North to finish last. Just in case. Teams pretty much never trade pick 1, but might trade pick 2

West Coast would do it anyway I reckon. They’ll have tons of cap space and it kick starts their rebuild with a known quantity.

Freo just can’t get it done

Trading out pick 1 would be a fair bit harder sell to their supporters than trading out pick 2 imo. Pick 1 hasn't been traded away in a fair while

Adelaide -rankine

G coast - harmes,anb, pick 2 & pick 4 second round pick Adelaide

melb - Ben king second round pick west coast

west coast - Jackson

we have plenty of small half forward types in vfl to cover anb and harmes and frees up some cap

maybe Gold Coast use a pick on established mid like Tom Mitchell

would u swap Ben king for jackson?

Educated guess or do you have some solid info to share?

Fingers crossed you are right.

Why would Gold Coast want Harmes, ANB or be interested in Tom Mitchell.

And if I'm GC, there's no way I'm trading Ben King for Jackson. King has committed to the club. He's worth Jackson plus a 1st round pick.

Sorry, no, on a reread that sounded much more authoritative than it should. I have no idea. Just seems to fit better all round.

Whatever happens in regards to trades, it’s clear from tonite and most of this year that as good as Jackson is and could be in the future, he is not dominant in the ruck, or as a forward or as a follower that warrants us going any harder than what we have - let him go and maximise the return while we can

Serious question, exactly what is Jackson contributing to the team at the moment? He's getting flogged in the ruck, can't take a mark and doesn't kick goals. He wants to get paid a fortune to run around like a midfielder, but he's getting 12 largely mediocre touches a week. Not having a third ruck on the list is a major list management failure.

Agree at the moment he isn’t worth a fraction of what we hear is on offer. Is the knee injury hampering him? Maybe but Freo must be wondering if he is what they need. Ruckman take years to mature and learn the caper. He is well down on form and contributes nothing up forward

And if he is a midfielder some of his decision making going forward was terrible. Could of gone short a few times instead of bombing forward, got lucky with the one fritsch mark

Might be a champion in the future but right now he is an ordinary second ruck. Numerous second ruckman around the competition are producing a lot more. I reckon the Weid contributes as much when he has been second ruck.

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
