I really dont understand why they are stepping around us and breaking tackles so easily.

Are we tired?

Not going 100%.

There is a reason I wrote what I wrote in my first post in this thread. 😖

Can’t blame the umpires now

insipid

Changes next week thread

be interesting to see how the club responds away at Adelaide next week

Anyone actually have faith in this team?

yes

Some of you need to stop posting.

Just lucky to score any goals before half time

What's the bet Brown doesn't take another mark for the game.

Tmac?  Any danger of getting involved?

not to mention statistically we’re a greater chance of winning the granny from 3rd than 1st. All part of the grand plan 😎

Max shepherded out of the ruck - no free.

13 - 8 plus so many not paid

Counts for little tonight. I’m glad that Scott has shown his hand so we can work on how to defend against them in finals if needed

no injuries please

well beat Port next week

We fumble at ground level....they get clean pick ups and first use

Got what we deserved. Well and truly ahead if ourselves

Weak as [censored]… umpires were shocking

it’s horrible .. but in a way it’s a great wake up pre finals.

Midfield MIA!

Just way too many players unsighted

Totally embarrassing.

Leadership complete failure. Midfield and defence got tore a new one. No one willing to put a body on Dangerfield or Hawkins.

This is Preliminary final 2018 stuff. When the heat is on we just capitulate.

Mentally weak.

We were off from very early in this game IMO. That says the boys had their minds on other things.

I wonder what it could be...

Ok that was our worst quarter of the season. Don’t care about the result now, let’s just win the second half and have some sort of form going into next week

It’s Game Day and the Demons have made the long trip west to take on Fremantle tonight at Optus Stadium. Can Melbourne make it two from two to start the season, and what are you hoping to see from the Dees under the lights in Perth?

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Saturday Night’s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourne’s memorable premiership triumph.
