Game over. Umpiring is a [censored] disgrace, but we missed our opportunities.

We desperately need to improve our goal kicking accuracy. We never kick more goals than points and it’s directly costing us games now.

FMD.  Salem held without ball - no free - goal to Dogs who just cannot miss

Our forward disposal is just disgraceful.  Thanks Goodwin Williams and Yze

We look awful. Viney Langdon Harmes Salem Spargo ANB giving us absolutely nothing.
Once again relying on too few to do too much.

great we give away another goal in the last minute - great defensive football

they have 10 scoring shots to our 9 and lead by 19 - brilliant. Gotta love our forward coach.

tough conditions, but we are nowhere

Not a chance in hell we get close to winning the flag

we don't have enough outside class

Been saying it for years

Not to mention our forward line is trash

Time to start injuring them to compensate for the unfair umpiring.

Yep. All over. Disgraceful umpiring, rubbish football. Not within a paddock of finals-worthy intent.

There is no question which team has dealt with the conditions better and the best team overall.

The scoreboard absolutely reflects that.

Umpiring not good but not the difference.

We will see what our players are made of after half time.

When TMac is quiet we struggle big time. But the umpiring and missing 3 sitters we coud be still in the game.

our goal kicking is our downfall unfortunately we lack skillful kicks like Breust for Hawks

First off our kicking for goal is what’s made us be 21 points down. BUT FAIR BLOODY DINKUM THE UMPIRES MIGHT AS WELL BE WEARING BULLDOGS UNIFORMS. THEY ARE THROWING, THEY ARE BEING TACKLED BUT DON’T DISPOSE OF IT, THEY ARE BEING GIVEN AN ARMCHAIR RIDE THIS ENTIRE MATCH. Chalk at least two goals against the umps.

On our side, we have to take our chances. 0.2 from Brown isn’t only disappointing, it’s deflating. Not just that he misses but that they are supremely gettable kicks, you would expect ANY AFL player to kick it let alone a FF who’s job it is to do exactly that. We actually had quite a bit of territory and decent opportunities but yet again butchered them. We have regressed back to what we did most of last year.

Worst part is, I’m still in hotel quarantine after watching us have they great run earlier this year and I’m genuinely wondering whether it’s impossible for Melbourne to be a decent team while I’m in the country.

Seriously if BBB doesn’t kick a match winning bag in the second half he needs to be dropped.  Paid the big bucks and hasn’t looked remotely like kicking either of those set shots.
Those misses are just totally and momentum killing

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session.
