I don't rate his hairstyle.......

In a recent interview he said he didn't like how much attention his hair had been getting and thought he would have to change it. So I guess everyone will be able to have another opinion.

I’m genuinely surprised at the level of criticism aimed at some of our players.

Fritsch has been outstanding this year. To hear some people say he can’t be played anywhere else when his first season he played exclusively off half back is odd. He’s a very talented football player.

And Gawn was ‘fumbly’ and out of touch on the weekend - but somehow picked up 9 votes from the 2 blokes paid $500k each to understand the game.

I know we are in unfamiliar territory here Dee’s fans, but it’s ok to appreciate what you’ve got.

Easy to praise the man after kicking 7 goals but just wanted to acknowledge the improvement in his goal kicking.

He has now kicked 46.18 for the year.

Outstanding accuracy by any measure but particularly for someone that used to look shaky in front of goal.

Also brought up his 100th goal with his second major of the day. Kids a jet.

I’m more impressed with the fact that he’s been a lot better with his defensive pressure.

Was outstanding in that department today.

What a bizarre comment. Do you have something against Beavis?

Wrong one mon brave.

He has Butthead’s hairdo. ☝

That being said, there have been others who have got it more wrong than you.

First time today I saw him actually chase with intent.

Needs to keep this up come September.

Best in the forward line today. Excellent. Last quarter was his reward.

Absolutely agree, I was really enjoying saying things like “good work Fritta, great pressure!” The goals at the end were rewards for his hard work. His accuracy has massively improved!

I hope ha can carry his self belief forward, especially the next 4 (or 5 😡) games. Will be a key to any success we will have.
PS mea culpa Q1 I was happy to have him as the one to make way for TMC.

seems like just yesterday ( last year i think) he kicked 1.6 or 1.5 and he used to do kick like that regularly.  i just couldn’t figure him out bk then as he always has had the most balanced, fluent kicking style in our team imo.

46.18 this year is an incredible return and 7 goals straight shows how far he’s come , but not just in kicking but  in all aspects of his game. Feel like  he’s our version of a Gunston.

Interesting to remember we got him w the pick we got for Watts. Our recruiting in the past 5 years has been as good as it was bad in the 5 before that :-)

He could easily finish top 3 in the Coleman race. Absolutely insane for a medium forward.

He could indeed - currently 6th with 46 (equal w Charlie Dixon).  A number of those above him may not play next week - Hawkins (50), Bruce (48), Walker (48).

If he finishes top 3 in the coleman, he should be All Australian as the third tall (I know that's not how they select it) - other than Charlie Cameron, all the others around him are key forwards.

The AA is all over the place, didn’t Dusty make it as a forward pocket a couple of years ago?

I predict Fristch will end up with 56 goals and fall just short of McKay. Hawkins could go past if McKay provided Cameron doesn't take too many goals off him.

A fantastic effort nonetheless by Fritter, and an inspired bit of trading/drafting to use the pick we traded for Jack Watts for a 45-50 goal a year mid forward.

I always said the AA should have two sides. The blue and the red teams. Each side has alternating picks for positions. That way it would be more representative of actual talent for position.

A AA second team would be good. Kinda like how the NBA does it

His inaccuracy (particularly kicking for clutch goals) drove me nuts

Yesterday, everything clicked - calm and composed

Wattsy would have more (just sayin....😉)

August 15th 2021 the day Fritsch went to town, I have watched a lot of footy in my life But never seen anyone kick 3 goals in under 3 minutes before, our midfield did him proud. Well done Bayley Fritsch what an exhibition of great kicking in swirly conditions.

Go Bayley, Go Dees. !!!!!!!!

In game time it was about a minute and half.

Possibly one for the records page but I think the last Demon to kick 50+ in the H&A season is was Neitz (TMac got 50 in the finals series). Would love Fritta to get 4+ next week to break that.

I seem to recall Malcolm Blight did something similar. It was the game where he kicked that monster goal after the siren to win the game. I think he kicked two other goals before that one, perhaps all in time-on, but perhaps not in 3 minutes.

I don’t really care for Malcolm terrible commentator and I think Frittata broke his record, Blight had a huge crowd and strong wind at his back.!!!!! Besides I don’t want to dwell on anyone but our Bayley Fritsch.!!!!

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
