Quite a few games can go either way this week. Who are you tipping?

taking the longer term view and putting to one side the top of the table clash there are some delicious matches to consider.

If you think we can make top 4 you want the least number of interstate teams in the four. (Unless we think we end 1 or 2 which I am far from thinking.)

On that basis we probably want Freo to beat the eagles and Port to beat Brisbane. (Of course Brisbane beating Port gives us one more game on Port and increases the chances of top 2)

Hell it's hard

As to the Tigers game I would love to go top but a Tiger loss gives us another game on them.

Swans beating Cats would be nice as well.

Tonight’s game is the interesting one:  Are the Dogs going to put a marker into the Tigers, or will the Tigers show they are still in the main group of contenders.  Both sides with injuries.

 

Never seen a demons team at $1.01.

Reckon we softened up the Tiges last week and the doggies will capitalise this week. I think the Doggies will account for them pretty easily actually. 5-6 goal win in fact

Gold Coast beating the Pies at the MCG would have to mean the end of Buckley.

It would be a perfect round if Freo, Sydney and the Dogs won.  

No different to us as Oliver, Petracca, Viney et al matured... but I guess the concern would be they are only 23-25 - not a further 2-4 years further along a career path.

To me it speaks of a lack of trust - trust in the game plan as well as trust in other players to commit to their own roles, which then lends itself to self-preservation and behaviours which are not beneficial to the team

(fight, flight or freeze)... 

(move towards ball,  not running defensively, ball watching) respectively.

Ultimately - not playing their role.

Dogs first test tonight.... I think the way Richmond defend the G and their tall forwards will be too much for the dogs.

Sure, a missed HTB in front of Tiger goal, but how in the world is that not 50 m against Riewoldt when called to “get up, let go” and just ignored it?

BT : The Bulldogs are the best defensive side and the the attacking team in the comp, that’s what the numbers tell us at the moment.

Whilst true he failed to mention that they’ve also played North and the Suns.

to my mind Richmond or half the side have lost the hunger. they are champions and know it. and only work hard enough every now and then.   They can be dangerous though
