Why is Brayshaw not playing on ball ahead of Sparrow?

Cause brayshaw is terrible. Can't believe people rate him

Got offered mcc the other day. Do I ask for a refund on my MFC “donation” membership to pay for the $1100 fee?
Not sure I’m getting my monies worth currently.

Coach killer.

If you know one, I’ll pay him.

For once can we also play with some instinct. Let's not deviate from the [censored] game plan

What a comeback in the second half!! Finals here we come

gone too early DL

Clarkson will come only for the bucks or if his ego makes him think he’s god and can work miracles.

I wonder if goody will have a job in 3 weeks....

Lucky the job seeker increase in payment has been extended for him

Lockhart the only one who can hold his head up high.

Jackson, Weiderman, Fritsch, Picket, Hannan and Melksham have as a collective had 2 tackles.

To fix this club we need to get rid of every person who has any history with the club and bring in others from outside Of our four walls.

Our club is infested with losers, loser mentality, happiness to just be. No hunger, no drive, no killer instinct. MFC is a insipid breeding ground. Purge the [censored] place!

I’m down with that. Get him.

Positives

WE have kicked 1 goal 3 points

Only 33 Points Down

Port are playing poorly should be 15 goals in front.

This season has been full of teams playingDoctor Jeckle and Mr Hyde football, winning well one week and looking hopeless the next. This week we are hopeless but the problem we have dropped 2 games by a few points when we were on song. So we can’t afford these downers. Intensity is near zero, team work zero.

Weideman 1 (no marks), Hannan 1 (1 mark), Jackson 3 (no marks), Pickett 4, Melksham 4 (1 mark), TMac 4 (3 marks), Fritsch 6 (2 marks).

18 inside 50s for 1 mark inside 50.

Carey wouldn’t get near it with the mids kicking to him like that.

If there are any youngsters reading this site, I'm sorry to say that you need to consider the following.

You follow a side that has not won a flag for 56 years and has only had 2 Grand final appearances since that day for 2 humiliating losses.

We entered the season with what we were told was the fittest side we have had take the field, and enjoyed an injury run so good that I have not seen similar in my 52yrs, in a truncated season where superb fitness and list availability should have seen our team hot favourites to play deep into finals. And we have yet again caved and surrendered to a side that wanted it more while being directionless because of the lack of ability of a coach who is a handbrake to team performance. Only a few weeks after our president scoffed at the idea that our coach should be under pressure because of limp performances.

Think long and hard about emotionally investing in this organisation.

Well, that was a debacle. I’ve put a lot of our problems down to Goodwin previously, but this is down to effort, intensity and skill execution. Not even close to resembling our improved performance the last few weeks.

Coaches responsibility to motivate, inspire and lead the players. He’s clearly not able to do that consistently even after 4-5 years now.

How does brayshaw continue to get games??? Yet Tomlinson was brought in for outside run & can’t get a game

In fairness Brayshaw is the only one having a dip tonight

Awful kick from Hannan.

  • PREVIEW: West Coast

It was bad enough that the Melbourne Football Club created yet another humiliating scenario inside its wretched season at Marvel Stadium last Sunday, but the final insult is that it has been commanded to return to the scene of the crime to inflict further punishment on its fans this week. Incidentally, if this match preview, of a game that promises to be one of the most unattractive fixtures in the history of the game, happens to cut out of your computer screen three quarters of the way through, it’s no coincidence. I’ll be mirroring the Demons’ lacklustre effort against St Kilda from last Sunday when they conceded the largest last quarter turnaround for victory in the history of the game.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

  • PREGAME: West Coast

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.
