Tinks 11 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Sam McClure is reporting on trade radio that Freo are looking to trade him if possible. Obviously has had some troubles but has insanely good talent and would come super cheap. Worth a look for the right price? Quote
SFebes 4,884 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Absolutely NO. The positive is, Freo are clearing up cap space. 1 3 Quote
ucanchoose 1,816 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Sam probably read that on a fake Twitter account. Much like what he reports. He was caught out last week. Take no notice of that peanut 3 Quote
Bring-Back-Powell 15,535 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Absolutely not. It would be an absolute circus having him at the club. All he'd bring to the table is injuries, night club incidents etc.... 1 Quote
chook fowler 19,769 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 it would be a breach of the no richard cranium policy 4 1 Quote
Maldonboy38 6,435 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 No. After further thought... absolutely no. 1 Quote
Matt Demon 1,597 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Great talent but it's a big NO from me. Quote
Marco 73 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 why are we wasting post space for this dud? Quote
Rodney (Balls) Grinter 11,064 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 One of the biggest wastes of talent in the last decade. Probably part of the great legacy that Karmichael Hunt left at the Suns. Quote
Dee Zephyr 19,311 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 I honestly believed he would become one of the best players in the comp. He looked every bit a star in the making. There wouldn’t be many takers now if any. 1 Quote
Demonland 74,351 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Slow news morning. They've been talking about this for a very long time. 2 Quote

Ethan Tremblay 31,388 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Stay well and truly clear of this guy. 5 Quote
John Demonic 5,988 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 (edited) I'd eat a Sylvia Bennell [censored] sandwich for pick 5 & 6 though. Party in Bali on minimum afl wage for 3 years. Edited October 8, 2018 by johndemonic Quote

Wiseblood 24,637 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 We have the culture to take on someone like this... but Bennell is too far gone for mine. I don't think the best culture in the world could keep him under wraps. No from me too. Quote
GCDee 3,202 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Yeah he has had 7 seasons to get his body and professionalism right... no chance he makes it. Hopefully he goes to Carlton and makes them implode so they can dive deeper into illrelvance. Quote

Dr.D 1,771 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 I'd take him. Sure he has been a fruit loop and has had his fair share of injuries but he'd come for free so what's there to lose. I think our club is strong enough to handle him if he goes awol. He was one of the best players in the comp at his best so he'd be in our top 5 players if he got healthy. Quote

You don’t want this guy and what he gets up to off the field anywhere near the club. 4 Quote

Ted Lasso 19,586 Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Too much baggage sadly because he’s a great talent and bargain basement price. 2 Quote
