Interesting that he has been out of contract for so long. Always assumed that Don's would sign him on (and I still think they will). Has struggled for parts of this year and famously struggles to score if the dons aren't playing well on the day..  but still would offer some pace/spark that we need up forward.

In a high contested team that thrives on forward half pressure, he would be a great fit. Adds pace and can kick straight ?

I am sure we could beat those traits out of him ???

Hold the phone: a small forward that goes missing when the rest of his team does? wow!

Would think it's a contract issue (money level and perhaps term)...

Surprised that he hasn't had the pre-signing form improvement that so many MFC players experience.

Still more effective than all of ours combined i reckon praha.

I would have him in a heartbeat.

may as well give the Bombers a little salary cap problem by making an offer. Garlett's money is there to be used.

So how do you rate Hunt or not 'small' enough?

Or you just prefer a bit of negativity

Did i set your "disrespect alarm" off again Saty?

He is no more a "Small" than CP5. In fact he is taller.

Surely you must have known that.

Or do you just like a argument?

P.S. Dont bother, we already know the answer.

Saty. I admire your red and blue blood through-and-through attitude, but a guy is allowed to express an opinion without it being construed as a knock (“negativity”) on every player on our list, surely.

Dons would surely get his signature before end of season, their supporters would riot.

But if not, would absolutely go for him without hesitation! Inside 50 pressure and goals, absolute gold for our needs.

Facts M8.

Look at em.

They're good for ya.

We're the least effective forward-line in the AFL.

No amount of training you attend will change that.

Would take him gladly if he was open to leaving. He’s the type of pacey small forward we need and a big upgrade on the likes of Spargo, Nibbler, Hanna etc

you're right but it would be fun making an open play for him and seeing the bomber fans sweat.

As I mentioned before at the very least it would play a little havoc with their salary cap.

You’re right Saty. After Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti’s performance today I’d rather Hunt.

Cherry picking individual games isn't a sound method for managing a team list. But I guess you knew that.

I’ve seen him play like this more than once. I believe he tore us a new one when we played them. In fact he’s done it to us numerous times. Today’s just another example of the quality player he is.

Same Height as Petracca at 186cm. I’d hardly call him a ‘small’ forward. He doesn’t play as one either.

Yep. Different player type than Hunt. Better player than Hunt.

Who would you rather Spargo, or Tippa?? Other than Jeffy who I still rate, he is an upgrade on any thing similar. And No... Hunt aint really a Forward !!

Go Get please!!?

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
