I actually think Tmac has provided a genuine round the ground contest.

I agree with the commentatorts (not often mind you) but it has been a very good game. Freo have the capacity to move the ball , lucky when you have Fyffe, Hills and walters. But we just need to mave a bit better (and kick a little better) and not give goals via clangers in the middle of the ground. Gee we are lucky that one of the MacDonalds did not do the stuff ups that lead to goals in 1st Q

Ive got the answer!!!!

Send Bitters down to training with his cat o' nine tails and give Goodwin a jolly good.

Didn’t realise (TV) that he was playing. ?

Viney going well today

Best passage of play I’ve seen in ages. Go Dees.

Great peripheral vision Frosty.

Jones' goal!

OMG. They actually can run the ball and get a goal?

Hiding their talents  under a bushel all year?

GO DEES!

Just think his confidence is shot.

you dont think hes carrying something, more than a niggle ? I do

I dont believe one iota of the rubbish that emanates from DeeHQ.

Last year we managed to drive half the team into the ground . Thats why many arent out there. Tmac was injured...i'll lay london to  brick hes getting jabbed just to play the mediocre rubbish currently on display...No wonder he plays like he does. He KNOWS he cant give it 100% He's persisted with , imho, because there really arent too may options.

We're quite a dumb club unfortunately  , currently reaping what we sowed.

Quite simply ...he cant perform as he was...because he cant. He knows it, must be soul destroying. That said...he's not doing himself any favours.

How the [censored] is Wagner still on the list? Seriously how?

I’ll be so pleased to see Hannan & Wagner out of the Team.

Lockhart is the big story thus far.

Wags & Petty couldnt win it between them.  See Lever & Hibberd

Holy f  k and chit and then it is followed up by one of the worst pieces of totally Melb play I have ever seen!!!! Worked it up the ground really well to then pizz fart around with it around the 50 for Freo pressure to turn it over and then they push it down the ground for a terrible turn over goal.

That Wagner fumble in the forward line directly resulted in the Fremantle goal there. Wagners are kryptonite for smooth fast-handball chains.

We should win this easily. But will we

freo are playing terribly

Hannan's been out for months.  He'll be fine with another game or so under his belt to find his touch and match fitness

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
