Taking my 4 year old to his first game of the year. We have country memberships. Anyone know if we just scan at the gate or do we need to nominate the game somehow and get a ticket in another way? Just unsure how the five games are counted.

Your country membership will scan you into the general admission areas.

Gameday Prediction(s):

- Hunt will kick four majors.

- Jeremy Cameron will be reported.

- Toby Greene will kick five majors.

- Hore will take seven intercept marks.

As long as Hunt kicks the first of the game I’ll be happy at the end of the day ?

The suns have shown what’s possible with a no name list, they’ve pushed some good sides up until 3/4 time. I had us getting flogged last week, but not only did we come to play, we played with purpose. Giants have some skilful players but so do we. What’s annoying me the most is that this year the flag is there for the taking, and we waited until round 9 to have a serious crack.

With both SA clubs losing this weekend this game has become that much more important... A win here and we are just a single game behind 7th and 8th spot.

Yes one game behind the records of 7th and 8th but given our %, we would effectively be two games off a top 8 spot. Lose today and we are still three games off.

Our poor percentage is basically worth another game. Teams would be licking their lips to play us, because even if they lose against us they don't stand to lose much percentage given we barely score and don't win by much.

I fully expect to know within the first 5 minutes if we are in this. We are well under the odds after last weeks great effort. If we were favorites Id say we won't win. But strangely enough because we arent, we are a very good chance.

I have gone for Melbourne to be in front at the end of each quarter. ($4)

cant see us getting beat today       we match up very well                   on every line and they have to beat us

Love the optimism.

Let me temper that.

We will be obliterated today.

By the side that managed 38 points against the Hawks

Just completed a very pleasant spa and steam at the RACV club ( of which I am surprisingly still a member, given Biffen’s past drunken efforts to get me banned)

Anyway I am feeling almost positive and predict a close win- alternatively we will get flogged!

Salem out hurts...

BIG time!

So that's no Lever, May, Salem, Jetta, Hibberd.

Ridiculous.

Christ, just saw. Spargo comes in? Don’t know what to make of that.

Spargo has done absolute nothing at VFL and now he gets a recall. What the??. We are in trouble. Just hope he can actually do something today. Bit more than his normal 30 odd SC points.

To put it kindly a bizarre selection in Spargo. Back in on the back of 2 weeks out on top of a poor VFL game.

Goody still feeling under the weather or what!??

Really not good news for Salem who has a history of concussions.

I didn’t think he did?

Thyroid yes but can’t recall him having too many concussions.

& it's a real shame because it looks as though our system has finally got going (some what)... but there's always a tipping point when it comes to injuries & today's late out may prove to be just that.

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

    TRAINING: Thursday 9th January 2025

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
