It’s funni when u look at it the saints and Brisbane are 2 and zip and we are zip and 2.

Who would have thought that was going to happen at the beginning of the season.

Hopefully it turns around sooner rather than later. This lack of form just may work in our favour in that it will build resilience amoungst the playing group.

Well that’s what I’m hoping for anyway.

And we'll have to trade layers into our list.  The draft will take too long.

We'll need a running winger.  The boy from Freo perhaps ?  Langdon?

Last year was a like a dream and back to thinking about the number one pick now, you beauty!

Ha even Gold Coast have a win and are 1 and 1.

Go dees.

I don't think this is the right way of proving all the tipsters wrong. Apart from Malthouse, of course, who didn't pick Melbourne to make the eight. Who wants to hear his smug ' I told you so ' at the end of the year? Grrrrr...

He knows how clubs work

Those who are entrusted to oversee ...need to investigate change. Not necessarily wholesale ...but certainly incremental.

What we're doing together with whom we're doing it with ... well....it just ain't working.

I'll going to hold off panicking until at least Friday night....lose to Essendon and then: man the lifeboats

Round 2 last year. How did Port, Suns, North and Adelaide go for the reminder of the year? Also, what about those 16th placed Pies and the 12th placed Tigers?

Hahah classic! ?

Funny how quickly people forget stuff like that. I remember a collingwood mate of mine saying after round two that he thought Bucks was gone!

So I guess your saying don’t panic, we got this ?

Depressing stuff.  Until it happens this club cannot be trusted.  Supporters who have lived their life with this club know a lot about trust.

Calling it now we will win 8 of the next 10 and be top 4 going into the bye.

Pick 1- Matthew Rowell.

Do we need to rebuild? Serious question our midfield is good but bombs it our forward is a disgrace our backline is even worse.

Does Jones need to retire?

Are we talking too early?

Who should we be targeting?

B: JETTA, MAY, LEVER

HB: HIBBERD, ? , SALEM

C : HARMES, OLIVER, ?

HF: ?, ?, ?

F: MELKSHAM, T.MCDONALD, ?

FOLL: GAWN, VINEY, BRAYSHAW

IC: ?, ?, ?, ?

There are 5 undefeated sides in the league and we're the only one to have played two of them.

Not sure if chicken or egg, but still.

And we were still able to generate an absolute bucketload of inside 50s against the Cats, which says that we're headed in the right direction in terms of how we want to play the game.  We just need the connection between the mids and forwards to catch up.

It's been that way since the start of 2018.

'We just' makes it sound simple.

It's a worrying trend and I can't see any positive change in any part of our game post the prelim final as of yet.

How else should I phrase it?  I'm not trying to make the work we need to put into changing it as something that's simple.  But it's simple to see what the problem is.

You don't need to over analyse and pick apart everything I post, mate.  I think we're on the same page, as most are on here, as to what the problems are right now.

Best post in the last 36 hours.  It’s delivery into the forward 50. Smart footy.  We created more chances.  Our conversion was disgraceful.

It's only part of the problem.

It's the plan, it's implementing the plan, it's where the forwards lead to, it's creating space, it's the quality of the forwards.

Not just delivery...that's the tip of the iceberg.

I’ll fix the tip right now. But yes the forwards don’t seem smart enough to create space.

Watched the Bulldogs last quarter and they kept the hotspot 25 metres out vacant.  It was the “hole” and the hawks failed to realise it.

  • NON-MFC: Round 04

Round 4 kicks off with a blockbuster on Thursday night as traditional rivals Collingwood and Carlton clash at the MCG, with the Magpies looking to assert themselves as early-season contenders and the Blues seeking their first win of the season. Saturday opens with Gold Coast hosting Adelaide, a key test for the Suns as they aim to back up their big win last week, while the Crows will be looking to keep their perfect record intact. Reigning wooden spooners Richmond have the daunting task of facing reigning premiers Brisbane at the ‘G and the Lions will be eager to reaffirm their premiership credentials after a patchy start. Saturday night sees North Melbourne take on Sydney at Marvel Stadium, with the Swans looking to build on their first win of the season last week against a rebuilding Roos outfit. Sunday’s action begins with GWS hosting West Coast at ENGIE Stadium, a game that could get ugly very early for the visitors. Port Adelaide vs St Kilda at Adelaide Oval looms as a interesting clash, with both clubs form being very hard to read. The round wraps up with Fremantle taking on the Western Bulldogs at Optus Stadium in what could be a fierce contest between two sides with top-eight ambitions. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons besides us winning?
