30 seconds to go i started shed tears.

The heartache and pain we've experienced for 12 bloody years..

It was all worth it.. ???

As I said earlier, felt some butterflies in the stomach when I knew we wouldn't get rolled.

Tears come for a flag.

No, no tears. But when they hit the front, it felt fairly familiar. When Kent was lining up, I was saying Kenter, you can be a hero if you put this through ... go Kenter.... GO KENTER!!!!! GO DEMONS!!!!!!!!!

My ceiling has holes in it. But no tears. Too old and grizzled for tears.

Tears came when Kent's bomb went through and only stopped about 5 minutes ago.

Yes tears.  I admit it.  But then it is not the first time I have cried watching the eagles.  The last time was round 23 last year.  Better tears this time!

When LeCras kicked his goal, I walked over the road and hit golf balls. Walked back in to see Kent seal it. Couldn't believe it, tears in my eyes, got ready to sing the song and of course, Foxtel showed nothing after the game.

I was working and watching the game and my hands were shaking so much I went for a walk in the rain thinking if we won I will tape it on Foxtel to see what I missed. Thought I had timed it well but got home with 3 mins to go and just jumped around the house cheering. Yes there were tears in the eyes. Very happy that the coaches actually got the selections right this week. Run, run, run.

I did - and so did my boy. I came to Australia for the 2006 season, my eight year old has never seen them in finals. He sobbed and I told him that this was why you stick with your team, even through all the bad times!

When Melksham kicked that goal I cried. I was in disbelief we held up after they hit the lead and held firm.

I just couldn’t bare another close loss to cost us finals. This past month has killed me emotionally and mentally.

The shed of tears was a gigantic sigh of relief and enjoyment of what’s to come. I can finally enjoy one weekend of football knowing we are playing finals.

Yep 100% had a tear. It wasn’t until Snake’s last goal. Kent’s goal was still a bit early for me. We’ve Melbourne’d it from there before so I wasn’t sold at that time.

The tears will come when the siren has sounded in the last Q of the GF, then the flood gates will open up.

    TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
