  1. Jack was a guest on the ABC Kat & Matt show a few Saturdays back. Kat is apparently good friends with Jack’s sister. Jack gave the club a wack. Spoke of having his love for the game drained from him during his time at the dees. Said the same happened to Jeremy Howe, and how much happier Jeremy was after joining the pies (2021 says hello!). Mentioned he was not the Jack Viney or Maxy Gawn the coaches wanted him to be. Felt he was accepted for who he was at Port. I switched between felling embarrassed and angry at the club, to also being peed off at Jack for bringing it all up again and not mentioning his role in his career outcome. Sad all round really.
  2. Helmet would definitely make a statement, but also vital for ones safety. I don't feel safe at those games. Never have, and certainly not now. There should be some sort of personal safety kit available to hire or purchase, the filth shield or something.
  3. Move over Goodwin, Moonshadow is our man! You would probably do the job for quite a bit less coin too!
  4. Make me even more paranoid about playing against recent ex-team mates. My mind goes into overdrive thinking about all the insider intel these players can use against us! We all have weird superstitions and this is one of mine.
  5. If it is a family school holiday open training event at Gosch's, they often hire a few portable toilets and have a coffee van and food truck attend. Demon Army might also be running a sausage sizzle. I suggest emailing the club and asking. I also suggest using the portable loos early, or wear gumboots.
  6. Can gorgeous Dolly be included somewhere? Her facial expression was priceless last year when Angus came over to greet and sign things after a game. I imagine she is devastated by Gus's forced retirement :-(
  7. My toilet bowl has a stronger moral compass than the filth. Perhaps I watch KB seated there than at the G?
  8. Agree. Please let it be the making, not the breaking. Us supporters have a role here. We can sign up & go along & support the team, or we can walk away and be part of the breaking.
  9. The young demons in my household fully understand this. The sight/mention/hint of collingpooh leads them to make severe vomit sounds. Their hearts beat true.
  10. Gee whiz, dees supporters are resilient, but seriously, enough is enough. The last 5 months have been a never ending nightmare. Get some sort of energy worker to the club immediately. I can’t take any more of this. Thanks Gus. All the best for the future.
  11. One irritation, Russell Robertson repeatedly kept saying over the mic how state of the art the facilities are at Casey. Are they really that high class? Genuine question. It seemed to be an attempt to appease supporters to me.
  12. I cannot comment at all on the footy (too busy basking in the sun & freebies!), but I can comment on the event itself. My girls and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Casey. The weather was superb, the crowd seemed in really good spirits and the freebies (coffee, donuts, lip balm, show bags etc.) were a real hit. We left prior to the match ending but were still able to get a few autographs from very obliging players. I am pleasantly surprised. I wasn’t a fan of combining a practice match with a family day, but it was a win for me today.
  13. The utter disbelief on the bulldog players faces at the end of that 10 minute annihilation. It gets me every time.
  14. I just had channel 7 news on for the first time in a decade. What do I see? The thug coming on to talk about his mysterious illness. I keep the channel on 7 despite my revulsion. The mystery illness he lives with is OCD. He explained his distress at overthinking and needing to repeatedly check he has locked his door. Ok mate, but lets put Angus on and let him explain the ins and outs of his concussion experiences and what he experienced in September because of said thug.
