We had one particular poster label Jesse as pathetic and a disgrace for a month yet Goody sounds very happy with his form up to last week.

Jugding by what goody said about Viney, we may not see him until the first week of the finals.

He will not be risked in Perth on that hard deck. I think wise heads will keep him clear of the GWS game.

As for Hibbo It looks like a return for the West Coast game.

Goodwin on whether Oliver or Gawn is having a better season:  "If you ask Max, he would say he is contributing to Clayton's season.  If you ask Clayton, he'd say he's making Max look good."  ?

In all seriousness, we are so blessed to have them both as Demons.  They clearly have huge inate talent, and have worked their butts off to get to this level, and the Club itself deserves a great deal of credit for developing them to become stars of the competition.  Fingers crossed, they will be part of a premiership team sooner rather than later.

Agree! It was obviously a tongue in cheek line from Goodwin but both statements are probably actually true. The Gawn-Oliver team is greater than the sum of its parts so to speak.

Brownlow quinella.

Probably 2nd and 3rd. Rob each other.

I agree. I've got some money on Maxxy, but I think Clarry might take some of those crucial votes.

Is it possible that a wooden spooner could provide the Brownlow winner? Would be farcical if that happens.

Though i would prefer Cripps to win it over 'plays for touches' Mitchell.

I can’t recall, but how were the Dees traveling when Woey won the Brownlow?

i used to be so happy for Robert Harvey, when he went back to back -  GAB jrn - also did it at gold coast - it can happen - and I kind of hope it does happen again. Just not this year - for max.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
