Kyle Cheney still playing the game ...must be nearly 10 years is it?

Interesting career. In 2016 he played 24 games with the Crows - double his previous best season tally - but then got injured, and hasn't played sighted at AFL-level since.

Till this week! He played v. the Hawks.

I reckon he's been under-rated.

Hawthorn gave him the job on Buddy once! He didn't do a bad job.

I must respond

The question is a tautology

Redheads ARE the best players for Melbourne

and the best redhead

will be Clayton Oliver

That's Stuart Spencer. Not surprised that bandwagon fans haven't heard of him. Was clearly a dud...

Yeah, maybe I am an old bugger but my levels of support involve learning about the history of our team. I guess that sort of interest is what separates us diehard Demons from the fairweather fans.

A strange world where you're considered a bandwagon jumper for not having supported your team before the time of your birth. I suppose when I die, I'll get accused of jumping off. I also have no idea how you could bring yourself to accuse anyone still supporting our club after the past decade of being a fair-weather fan.

Unless I'm missing some obtuse joke, classifying Sylvia as a red head is a definite stretch of the definition.

Colin Sylvia and Matthew Bate
One thing that all redheads from strawberry blonde to auburn know is that denial is futile, and resistance can be but temporary.  However, this has not stopped two recent characters of the Club from trying to deny their proud inheritance.  In Dermott Brereton style, the exuberant Colin Sylvia has taken the bleached path, while Matthew Bate headed in the opposite direction and briefly liaised with a darker side.

No joke Nash.

Can't decide whether it's easier to classify players as good/not good than it is to decide whether they are rangas/not rangas.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. We’re already a month into the MFC preseason (if you started counting when the younger players in the group began the campaign along with some of the more keen older heads)

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
