We went from being so hot and cold in games to winning 18 straight qtrs. Shout out to Goody and his coaches, they've done something right.

Best % in the league. Confidence is sky high and climbing.

Lever a genius

Brayshaw looking like a superstar

Viney dominant

Tim Bull Smith a massive boost to the side, hes a machine

Hogan is a SUPERSTAR

Gawn may be the greatest tap ruckman of all time

Spargo the terrier never stops going

Hibberd magnificent

Oliver a god

Could go on and on and on..............

Maybe the "experts" will start taking us seriously NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a ripper game.  Can't remember such play from the MFC!!!

Even in your day Barrie I can’t remember such dominance ...... but you won a flag and these guys haven’t ...... yet!  That is their challenge.

Best game ive seen us play for a long, long time.

All round. Ball movement. Pressure. Attacking.

Love it.

The fact we still get zero recognition makes it all the better. Go Dee's!

Some low scores this round. Dogs 58, Bris Layups 49, Boos 45. Ugly slogging football.

In a game like ours, where it's not a slog, a superior player can really show off his wares. It's marvellous and a joy to see players like Gus, like Lewis, kids like Spargo, show how they know where to go and what to do with the ball when they get it. Hogan with his rapid fire hands. That's football.

Awesome result, my daughter-in-law and her family are Crow supporters, what a great position we are in. GO DEES ❤️?

I don't think we've ever been this red hot even in our run to the GF in 2000....just ripping the other teams apart

Last time the MFC played Football like this was 1987, when we came home on a huge emotional wave.

When the emotion and belief is front and centre, it’s mighty hard to stop.

The players will now believe, as long as they keep working.

Job is far from done.

I notice that nobody has dared start a changes for next week thread. ???

Next week we will win too against the dogs and the reason I know that is because it’s Jones’s 250 game and if anyone deserves a win it’s him.

Go dees

Big game next week.

Chunk's 250th, but also because thanks to the AFL scheduling team, Dogs have a 7.5 day break and we have a 5.5 day break.

26 degree heat and 5 day break = very light week on the track.

No Plan B etc.

Bull Smith was great today! Having watched him go from VFL to playing good footy at AFL level gives me so much happiness

So glad my kids can hang over the fence as they belt out the song.

On their 3  repeat now.

How sweet it is.

There's a mouldy oldie song called "Teach Your Children Well". Just came to mind for some reason ...

Most quarters won.

21 - Geelong (2010)
18 - Melbourne* (2018)
17 - St Kilda (2005)
16 - Fitzroy (1982), Port Adelaide (2002), St Kilda (2009)

One of the pleasing things of the last few weeks has been the switching of play and our handballing is 5-10 meters out of contests as we are all not rushing in.

Would be a short thread...only 2 words needed.

Likely media comments:

flat track bullies

* adelaide had a hard game the previous week

And the one I would have to agree with...cheeky smile....

they haven't played any real sides yet

NO EXCUSES!  Just kill from the opening bounce.

  • REPORT: Fremantle

For this year’s Easter Saturday game at the MCG, Simon Goodwin and his Demons wound the clock back a few years to wipe out the horrible memories of last season’s twin thrashings at the hands of the Dockers. And it was about time! Melbourne’s indomitable skipper Max Gawn put in a mammoth performance in shutting out his immediate opponent Sean Darcy in the ruck and around the ground and was a colossus at the end when the game was there to be won or lost. It was won by 16.11.107 to 14.13.97. There was the battery-charged Easter Bunny in Kysaiah Pickett running anyone wearing purple ragged, whether at midfield stoppages or around the big sticks. He finish with a five goal haul.

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.
