Celebrations!

Adds two years to his existing contract.  Great show of faith.

Got to love him:

"It was the easiest decision of my life,” he told Melbourne Media...“The club came to me last week, and I talked to my manager and we got it done straight away, so I’m very happy.

Great news. Now we’ve had Oliver, Petracca, Viney, Gawn and Lever all sign on for at least another 3 years. Massive for this clubs future development.

Very well said LT.  The show of faith these young guys have in the future of our club can't be understated.  For someone like Oliver to sign within a two week process is just brilliant, and not only shows how much Oliver loves the club, but how well we are looking after these players.  No putting off talks, no 'waiting to see' sort of stuff.  Just getting it done!  Love it!

Will be a Brownlow medallist prior to signing his next contract.

Bloody awesome news.

Congrats to Mahoney and co for yet another great resigning. Great work guys.

Beef-cakes Bluey.

He looks a little like 'Lingy' there.   Just needs a couple more pounds, and a mullet.

Yep i know, he knows how to play the midfield, there is no hoping with Clayton.

As long as his shoulders survive, we need those quick bullet handballs in September

Petracca and Oliver both locked in.

If every player went into a draft to start the entire competition over, where would these two be selected all things considered?   Wouldn't be too many selected ahead of them.

And this should be a reflection of outsiders, wanting to come IN.

free agents we're waiting for you.

Please, wipe your feet at the door, and come in for a coffee & Smashed Avo' sandwich.

  • POSTGAME: Sydney

The Demons controlled the contest from the outset, though inaccurate kicking kept the Swans in the game until half time. But after the break, Melbourne put on the jets and blew Sydney away and the demolition job was complete.

  • CASEY: Northern Bullants

The Casey Demons travelled to a windy Cramer Street, Preston yesterday and blew the Northern Bullants off the ground for three quarters before shutting up shop in the final term, coasting to a much-needed 71-point victory after leading by almost 15 goals at one stage. It was a pleasing performance that revived the Demons’ prospects for the 2025 season but, at the same time, very little can be taken from the game because of the weak opposition. These days, the Bullants are little more than road kill. The once proud club, situated behind the Preston Market in a now culturally diverse area, is currently facing significant financial and on-field challenges, having failed to secure a win to date in 2025.

  • GAMEDAY: Sydney

It’s Game Day, and the Demons have a golden opportunity to build on last week’s stirring win by toppling Sydney at the MCG. A victory today would keep them firmly in the hunt for a finals spot and help them stay in touch with the pack chasing a place in the Top 8. Can the Dees make it two in a row and bring down the Swans?
